This laptop is sexy in black. If you seen it in person then you know what I'm talking about.

Normal price is $1300, so at this price is great. I was looking at the Surface Pro 7 but for $200 more this is very tempting

I guess xps looses only on resolution.

Just got one yesterday for an employee. I wouldn't kick it out of bed for crunching numbers, but there are certainly sexier ones out there (if you like them black, I like the thinkpad x1's). To each his own!

I would like to see decent deals on the 16gb of the business versions. Great deal though!

Hardware wise, this laptop is what the Macbook Pro 13 should've been ! A balanced combination of look, weight, battery life, screen, power and price.

Where are you finding that the new xps 13 is $150 cheaper? The old one is using 8th generation intel so not a good comparison.

I'm thinking about replacing an aging MacBook Pro with something from the Surface line. Can anyone suggest which of these would be best for running the Adobe graphics suite programs like Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign? I've used a Thinkpad for work in the past, and liked it, but having something with a touchscreen & pen seems like it could dramatically speed up my workflow.

Not this one, if you'll be using the touchscreen or pen much at all you want the surface pro or surface book. This one doesn't lay flat, which I prefer as I generally don't use touch.

Any chance they might give the same discount ($300) on the 13" i7 with 16GB RAM? Got the 15" AMD with 8GB RAM and returning it because I end up using over 85% RAM for ordinary work/few chrome windows.

It's via Dec coupon, if you sign up for Costco ad, it will be sent in paper. The online version is not available yet

Yes. But with one thing, this laptops are pretty much brick if there is any problem. You cannot open/repair them or make any hardware changes if that is ok for you
