Jeez...

-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans

-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.

-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".

-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.

-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100

-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.

-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get

-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.

-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.

-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.
Please make sure that you buy the phone outright, meaning limited colors and storage options.

My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.
You are talking CRAP.....stop telling untruths.

This is ABSOLUTELY wrong

ANY listed phone, ANY carrier.....as long as its in good condition and not icloud locked

Dumb question, but read through and didn't find an exact answer. It looks like we can't liquidate the virtual giftcard through Apple Pay... anyone know of a way to cash out the GC's, other than buying Amazon giftcards, etc?
Pay your car insurance? Pay your cell phone bill forward? some banks let you use debit cards to pay your credit card bill. probably check out reddit churning to find ways to liquidate your gift card.

It seems iPhone 11 Pro stock is running super low (at the store on Technology drive in Irvine, CA)

I had a cancelled line (which happens about 60 days ago) and found a fine print in terms and condition "If you have cancelled voice lines in past 90 days, reactivate them first." I chatted with TMO rep and she told me that I needed to add 3 lines instead of 2 to take advantage of this promo for 2 phone rebates. (I guess the first newly added line is not eligible.) So I ended up adding 3 lines instead for 2 promo.

Surprisingly Costco had BYOD promo, they give me $125 Costco Card (to be mailed within 14 weeks to my home after I complete an online submission.) I guess I ended up making additional $65 or so assuming I will have to maintain $20 extra for 3 month ;-)

I saw $299 to buy a new iphone 7 on boost mobile website.

why not buy iphone 7 on cricketwireless website for $99 + plan
$299 for new, $129 pre-owned.

Yes, I could've bought a phone for less by signing up with boost, cricket or other but that would be over $100 anyway, plus ANOTHER credit pull, plus the hassle of trying to get them to cancel the plan. I guess I'm lazy but I'd rather pay $29 more to avoid that.

Why is this a deal, since there will be a hard pull? I guess you can get similar benefit (over $300) by opening a new credit card?
Won't matter if you're adding lines and have capacity from your initial credit pull when you opened the account. And hard pulls don't even matter unless you're looking to acquire a large loan (car, mortgage, refinance) soon. Otherwise, it rebounds pretty quickly.

don't forget to factor in that the iPhone 11 64GB is only $630 at Costco.

there is a chance the $700 rebate will only qualify for $630 on this purchase.
Yup, 99% chance T-Mobile will give maximum $630 as rebate for iphone11.

Do u mean, even if the phone is unlocked it wont work with other operators? What is different with the t-mobile phones?
Other person is an idiot. It supports GSM, so unlocking would support ATT/Cricket.

Simple choice with unlimited data is qualified according to the Costco rep I talked to last time for the $580 promotion- hope this is the same

Be careful with those. A few of us on here including me have gotten bad phones since they are 'pre owned'. Mine had a faulty charger.
Since the charger is not required to trade in, were you still successful with the trade in?

More like 100% chance it will be $630 for the 64gb. The $700 rebate is only for phones priced greater than $700 pre-tax.

boost mobile is prepaid carrier, don't check credit

tmobile will check credit

Sorry about that. I forgot to put charger port. You had to move the cable a certain way in order for it to charge. I traded it at T-Mobile directly and it seems they accepted it. Still waiting on the first bill to show the bill credits. Should be here soon.
