-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans
-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.
-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".
-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.
-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100
-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.
-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get
-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.
-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.
-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.
My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.
This is ABSOLUTELY wrong
ANY listed phone, ANY carrier.....as long as its in good condition and not icloud locked

Question is does Tmobile can reject my friend's rebate saying already availed the $580 deal using different Tmobile account with this same Costco membership? Because receipt will have the Costco membership number on the top
Pls suggest if anyone has come across this before.
Will give reps.
Did you get any other update on it? I am facing the same issue
Planning to wait a few days. Since it's widespread they will hopefully sort it out. Returning will be a pain since I already ported in my phone number. Plus you have to return at Costco and cancel line with T-Mobile.

She then put me on hold for 10 mins and came back and said that since the promo just launched, I should wait for 24 hrs. She said she will call back today to follow up.
I figured out about the purple business from slickdeals and other posts here.

You'll receive a trade-in credit based on the fair market value of your trade-in device and the balance of the promotional value via monthly bill credits. If you trade in a store, you'll receive your trade-in credit instantly. If you send us your qualifying iPhone for trade in within 30 days of receiving your new iPhone 11 Pro, you'll receive your trade-in credit on your bill within two bill cycles after your trade in is received.
Buy iPhone 11 Pro on a monthly payment plan.
Complete your purchase and make a down payment (if applicable -- or apply your in-store trade-in credit toward your down payment).
Receive promo credits over 24 months.
We'll apply the balance of your promotion by crediting your bill each month. If you cancel wireless service, credits may stop & remaining balance may be due.
For costco we have to wait for some months to get the rebate.
Why is this costco deal better than a tmobile store deal.
Am I missing something?
