Jeez...

-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans

-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.

-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".

-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.

-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100

-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.

-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get

-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.

-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.

-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.
Please make sure that you buy the phone outright, meaning limited colors and storage options.

My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.
You are talking CRAP.....stop telling untruths.

This is ABSOLUTELY wrong

ANY listed phone, ANY carrier.....as long as its in good condition and not icloud locked

I was able to get a black 128gb Iphone 11 today in greater boston area. I traded in my Iphone 7 (unlocked, currently with sprint) and ported in my number to t-mobile. The customer service rep could only choose magenta plan and there was no option to choose Essentials on the computer screen when he was registering my account. After my phone was activated, he called tmobile in front of me and we changed my plan to Essentials. Thanks for the awesome deal!!

I got the shipping label etc. from the customer service rep but he didn't mention anything about submitting the rebate online. However, i noticed folks here talking about submitting rebate online so i went back and looked at the paperwork and it does provide details about submitting rebate online. I guess he just forgot to tell me or should i assume it was submitted by him as he kept putting in my Iphone 7 IMEI number in several places?
Did you figure that out? I am in same situation.

put your iCloud and password?
Or did you purchase this used and they didn't remove it?
If they didn't remove it, call them and ask them for it. But they will not give you that info so you are out of luck. Sorry champ.
Thanks

My kid is using an iPhone 6s on Sprint BOYD (ends in Jan 2020) far away from home. Could I give Costco the IMEI of this 6s, and wait 20 days (when he gets back for Xmas break) to mail it to Tmobile for trade-in, assuming he can still use the 6s on Sprint for the 20days? I know this will delay the Rebate by 20days (therefore could potentially spend one extra month on Tmobile's $70/month single line plan). I am also concerned whether Tmobile will take over the IMEI and void our Sprint service. Anyone has experience on this?

The Costco Rep that served us was quite new at Wireless Advocates. Been searching for the link to submit the rebate as well as the code. Looked through the papers we got but no mention of the online rebate submission instructions. I would appreciate if someone can send me the link + code needed. Thanks! Smilie

Got a 11 pro max . Rebate page says the IMEI is not eligible for promotion.

you can give 6s IMEI, and send phone within 30 days.
trade-in will be processed only if you send phone.
phone will continue working in sprint,

in the boost store, is this expected:

$50 for phone
$50 for plan
$x for tax (based on $50)
activation fee $25

Activate + port the number --> this can be done once get back to home, or need to be done while at store?

Thank you!
I have the exact same question, if we could deny activation in store. Also if there is any requirement of Port in number, can i just use Tmobile numbers from ebay?
