-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans
-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.
-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".
-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.
-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100
-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.
-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get
-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.
-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.
-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.
My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.
This is ABSOLUTELY wrong
ANY listed phone, ANY carrier.....as long as its in good condition and not icloud locked

2nd one was also like if you cancel within a month you'll be charged full price for iPhone 7s
3rd one wanted to sell me insurance even though it's not required
4th one wanted to call my prepaid numbers (bought from eBay for port in) and check, he got suspicious for some reason!! Mostly he was worried I'll cancel it in a month.
Bottom line: all store owners were reluctant to sell iphone 7s for 49.99 and service even though I have eligible port in number.!! Any suggestions guys
my neighborhood Costco is running out of iPhones and having hard time getting iPhones for trading in
Why can't we just buy an unlocked phone for this price without worrying about trade in etc?
IMEI As close to 100 people have already reported, they are having some IMEI problems right now. Give them a few days and stop posting.
INVENTORY - you can call all you want, but NOBODY knows what is selling right now and will no longer be in inventory, or what came in this morning and has not been processed, or what is coming in tomorrow
CANCEL LINES? - believe what you want, but there is ZERO requirement in the contract. Most say to wait until the rebate is processed which makes perfect sense
EXISTING CUSTOMERS? - This is for new lines. Not lines already with TM, or on another TM account.
VALUE OF TRADE IN - It does not matter. You will get up to $700 in total credit and rebate, or less if your new phone costs less than $700
DAMAGED PHONE - The phone must be free of defects. It can be carrier locked, but not iCloud locked.
Did $580 Deal Last Week - good for you. Now move on.
BLACK FRIDAY DEALS? - Yes there might be and there might not be. The current offer might end, or continue. Who knows?
You're pretty smug for someone that was wrong.

1) Do I need to bring the phone I will be trading in? Or just provide the IMEI number?
2) Do I have 30 days to drop the phone in the mail and fill out the rebate information?
3) Want to buy for my daughter but surprise her on Xmas morning. Stop by T-Mobile the next day, transfer her phone number, and then ship off her current phone. Will this work?
THANKS!!
The mail-in instruction didn't explicitly say that we have to include all accessories.

2. You have 30 days to ship the trade in phone. You can do the rebate any time after you buy the new iPhone 11, the rebate only want the receipt from Costco and the back of the iPhone 11 box showing the imei.
3. This promo require you at add a new line so you can't transfer your current daughter T-Mobile phone number. Why not switch sim if your daughter already has a T-Mobile phone number?
