-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans
-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.
-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".
-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.
-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100
-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.
-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get
-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.
-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.
-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.
My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.
This is ABSOLUTELY wrong
ANY listed phone, ANY carrier.....as long as its in good condition and not icloud locked

2. You have 30 days to ship the trade in phone. You can do the rebate any time after you buy the new iPhone 11, the rebate only want the receipt from Costco and the back of the iPhone 11 box showing the imei.
3. This promo require you at add a new line so you can't transfer your current daughter T-Mobile phone number. Why not switch sim if your daughter already has a T-Mobile phone number?

Plan would be to get a new number with new line through T-Mobile. After XMAS, cancel verizon line for my daughter and have her phone number ported to the new T-Mobile line. Would this work?
2nd one was also like if you cancel within a month you'll be charged full price for iPhone 7s
3rd one wanted to sell me insurance even though it's not required
4th one wanted to call my prepaid numbers (bought from eBay for port in) and check, he got suspicious for some reason!! Mostly he was worried I'll cancel it in a month.
Bottom line: all store owners were reluctant to sell iphone 7s for 49.99 and service even though I have eligible port in number.!! Any suggestions guys
my neighborhood Costco is running out of iPhones and having hard time getting iPhones for trading in
If you don't do the deal THEIR way, no iphone 7 for you.
You should have went with the one that would charge you insurance. What's a less than $10 fee to get this deal?
If I were you, I'd leave them negative reviews online.

You might get lucky and they extend this deal or even make it better since it ends on Wednesday.

1) Buy phone and open new line / number via T-Mobile under my name.
2) Xmas, give new phone to my daughter - current verizon account w/ S7.
3) Day after Xmas, go to T-Mobile and port my daughters number over.
4) Drop my daughters old S7 in the mail for the refund.
Will T-Mobile have any issues porting a new number within 30 days of a new line?
Planning to trade in 7+ and seems it would be a balance on account as probably we close in two months.
