Jeez...

-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans

-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.

-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".

-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.

-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100

-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.

-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get

-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.

-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.

-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.
Please make sure that you buy the phone outright, meaning limited colors and storage options.

My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.
You are talking CRAP.....stop telling untruths.

This is ABSOLUTELY wrong

ANY listed phone, ANY carrier.....as long as its in good condition and not icloud locked

Did the iPhone 11 Pro 64GB, just realized Costco rang up as $899, was there additional discount on the phone? Or just a price mistake at my Costco? Thought it was just 50 off.

**** AND THE BEAT GOES ON. WHY DO PEOPLE HAVE SUCH TROUBLE READING? ****

IMEI As close to 100 people have already reported, they are having some IMEI problems right now. Give them a few days and stop posting.

INVENTORY - you can call all you want, but NOBODY knows what is selling right now and will no longer be in inventory, or what came in this morning and has not been processed, or what is coming in tomorrow

CANCEL LINES? - believe what you want, but there is ZERO requirement in the contract. Most say to wait until the rebate is processed which makes perfect sense

EXISTING CUSTOMERS? - This is for new lines. Not lines already with TM, or on another TM account.

VALUE OF TRADE IN - It does not matter. You will get up to $700 in total credit and rebate, or less if your new phone costs less than $700

DAMAGED PHONE - The phone must be free of defects. It can be carrier locked, but not iCloud locked.

Did $580 Deal Last Week - good for you. Now move on.

BLACK FRIDAY DEALS? - Yes there might be and there might not be. The current offer might end, or continue. Who knows?
This is great, but you know the same questions will be asked in 3, 2, 1.....

My OKC store does not have TMO So I called to Tulsa store to check what inventory they have. Surprisingly the rep kept telling me they are aware of promotional scam and not approving 90% of the customer. I told him I was never with TMO and I will start new connection but he kept telling me that they have certain checklist and 90% of the people are getting rejected today. So it would not be wise for me to drive there. I asked what are the checklist and he denied to disclose that. Even he said, "you are doing this because you want a unlock iphone after 3 months right." I replied yes if you do so why not. He said that is a promotional fraud. Anybody else face this? Any suggestion?

wow LMAO

Here's the thing, once you call and start asking about this promo in particular or the stock, they know you are up to something.

I went to the store for the $580 deal like 2 weeks ago and the rep asked me "did you call before you came in"?
I said, no.

"good, because if you did, I wouldn't add the line for you"

Seriously, what does the rep care what you do within the promo rules? This reminds me of the Verizon 6s deal where you could trade in an unlimited number of $10 Tracfone Android phones for $300 credit each. I got 6 free phones (4 iPhone 6s' and 2 LG G4). First time I went to a smaller corporate store they claimed to have tried to run the line adds, but something wasn't working. Treated me like I was trying to scam them when all I was doing was following the promo of $300 credit for 'any' working smartphone.

Went back the next day and when the manager saw I was adding 4 lines to my account he told the rep to make it happen. I even had to show the rep how to do it on his iPad to apply all the discounts LMAO They learned from that promo and started requiring 6 mos of service with the new lines etc. Many had $1000s of credit on their accounts after that one.

I haven't bought on these Costco deals before. If I want to sell it, (locked to TM), do I need to open the box and make a call to activate it first in order to get the rebate?

I have bought several phones in the past directly from TM and I didn't need to do this. I could simply sell the device as new and no open box and I would still receive my TM credits.

Read on here someone said we need to open it and make a call to activate it, etc.

Well, I guess another difference the ones I bought from TM earlier (pixel 3a's) weren't new lines, they were on existing lines as another difference.

TLDR: I bought two, may be selling one, wondering if I need to open box or can sell sealed.

You can do this if you also did the $580 deal a couple of weeks ago. Also, this is also for existing customers. How do I know? I added 4 lines a couple of weeks ago to my 3 year old account and I just did this deal by adding another line.

You're pretty smug for someone that was wrong.
You added ANOTHER line.

The quote you "smugly" referred to is to people that wanted to $580 deal, and then change to $700 deal. You added ANOTHER LINE which of course would work. Congrats to you.

Why would anyone be stupid enough to tell TM what they are doing?
