Jeez...

-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans

-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.

-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".

-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.

-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100

-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.

-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get

-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.

-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.

-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.
Please make sure that you buy the phone outright, meaning limited colors and storage options.

My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.
You are talking CRAP.....stop telling untruths.

This is ABSOLUTELY wrong

ANY listed phone, ANY carrier.....as long as its in good condition and not icloud locked

WARNING: DO NOT MENTION YOU ARE CANCELLING THE NEW LINES! THEY WILL DENY TO SELL TO YOU.

Yes, my mistake, but they "reported" me to Costo Management for mentioning it even though there is no minimum term listed in the terms and conditions! They claim they "flagged" my account but I believe its just my Costo Membership number. I'm not done with this battle. Stay tuned.
Wow, I would have loved to see that exchange between you vs costco/kiosk reps

So how will you go forward?

If they flagged it and let's say it's a warning message on the card, the kiosk rep has to scan your card in order to do the transaction.

The only way I see that you can do this deal is going to a different costco and using a friend's costco card.

I settled for the 64gb 11 pro.
This deal is a steal. Who knows if they will extend it or have something better for BF.

Currently have an X 256gb and the battery is giving out. It will be 2 years with that phone this December.

well, are you adding lines to your own tmobile account?
If so, simply add your friend to your tmobile account as an authorized user.
I believe he will need to know your phone number and the passcode.

Also give him your SS.

When I went to try to do the deal on a friends account, they wanted the full social.

Actually just bought my S10 from Costco, no new line required, no trade in (my screen is shattered on my old phone) $419 +tax out the door was about $60 cheaper than amazon after 20% off sale and 100$ new card credit. Although I'm a little conflicted because the note was only $469 but I really want an Aux jack which I use fairly regularly.
It's sold out everwhere, of course. Smilie Thanks though, it's a good price.

With the IMEI issue on for rebate is it good to hold on to your trade in device until it is resolved or would be better off sending it?
If you send the trade in device and let's say they don't fix the rebate issue, then what are you going to do?

you do not need a SIM card.
They supply you with the account number, phone number and pin
You give that info to boost.

here is where things get tricky...SOME boost reps will call the number to see if it is active.
SOME will call att (or whatever company you are using) and call pretending they are you and ask how long the account has been active.

Good luck.

It sucks because that's all that most of the costco stores have.

I purchased a 64gb pro, I don't want to miss out on the promo since I have a 7 and that $700 big rebate is enticing
were you able to beat Simple Choice stepchild treatment somehow? or you used any of your family member/tmobile account on eligible plans?

LMAO LMAO
You brought back memories. I remember a few of those.
People start asking unnecessary questions and wonder why they get into situations like this.

Fill up a cart with your weekly grocery shopping and then buy your iPhone 11 (cart on sight) LMAO
