Jeez...

-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans

-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.

-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".

-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.

-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100

-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.

-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get

-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.

-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.

-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.
Please make sure that you buy the phone outright, meaning limited colors and storage options.

My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.
You are talking CRAP.....stop telling untruths.

This is ABSOLUTELY wrong

ANY listed phone, ANY carrier.....as long as its in good condition and not icloud locked

were you able to beat Simple Choice stepchild treatment somehow? or you used any of your family member/tmobile account on eligible plans?
It's a no go on simple choice.
I personally have a tmobile plan that qualifies.

But you can do it on a family or friend tmobile account and add lines on theirs.

Just give them some $$ for their troubles.

You brought back memories. I remember a few of those.
People start asking unnecessary questions and wonder why they get into situations like this.

Fill up a cart with your weekly grocery shopping and then buy your iPhone 11
(cart on sight) LMAO
Yup Yup Yup..... I love the idea about filling up a cart! LMAO

I am on MetroPCS. Can I start a new line and later port in my existing line from Metro to Tmobile?

Would it still make eligible for the 700 credit?

Apparently all of Arizona Costcos only carry iPhone 11 in 64GB and in Purple only. Yikes. I'll wait for the second round of this deal which if they do it again, be will in Dec/Jan.

What happens if Assurant does not accept the phone for the refund? Do you get a partial refund? Or is it 100% or nothing?

I just bought a new phone from Boost. It was 49.99 plus one month of service. Total was around $130 with activation and fees. The phone is now active on Boost.

Will it be okay to simply remove the SIM, send the phone in for the refund, and cancel my Boost line in a few weeks?

T mobile has the same deal direct from their store.
100% WRONG

Tmobile deal is a slightly higher price and credits are over 24 months.
Costco is credit in a month and rebate in about 2 months.

Family member has simple choice. I have Tmo One. I did the free xr deal earlier in the year with simple choice. The extra line was only $10 per month

Isn't metro under T-Mobile? I believe these are for new lines (no ports from metro)

Wow you actually got a good price. Did they push for other items for you to add/purchase?

Also, did you port a number from eBay? Or was it your own. Yes, you should be able to remove the sim and send out. Some have been mentioning that some boost phones still have balances owed. But those seem like the pre owned ones

Wow, I would have loved to see that exchange between you vs costco/kiosk reps

So how will you go forward?

If they flagged it and let's say it's a warning message on the card, the kiosk rep has to scan your card in order to do the transaction.

The only way I see that you can do this deal is going to a different costco and using a friend's costco card.
It went something like "So you're telling me you don't want my business because I can contractually do something not mentioned in the terms and conditions?" It got heated.

You're right. I think it's connected to my Costco Membership # which is all they got from me. Wife is getting a new Membership # tonight and we're going to a different location...
