Jeez...

-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans

-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.

-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".

-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.

-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100

-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.

-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get

-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.

-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.

-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.
Please make sure that you buy the phone outright, meaning limited colors and storage options.

My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.
You are talking CRAP.....stop telling untruths.

This is ABSOLUTELY wrong

ANY listed phone, ANY carrier.....as long as its in good condition and not icloud locked

Can anyone comment if their actual phone shows up under My Phone when logged in the T-Mobile website? I have the purple 11 and it doesn't show up as being an iphone. I wonder if those with the black that could register the phone has theirs show up as an iphone there?

Purchased 2 phones on a single receipt. How can I send Costco receipt on both the trade-ins? Do I need to send a copy of the receipt or actual?

Do I have to keep the Iphone with T-Mobile?

Can I keep the T-Mobile line but switch to a different phone after the Iphone is unlocked (40 days)?

Sometimes it takes days or even weeks to update on the my TMobile website, but in a day or 2 of active use, they do know which phone you are using, just in the website it might say unknown, but this is normal, not an issue.

I hope this post answers some questions for people on here regarding this deal and things to know before getting in on this deal. So I purchased a iPhone 11 pro Max 64gb space gray and have a iPhone 7 that I will be trading in. So when I went on The t-Mobile website and gave my imei of the new iPhone it was telling me that the imei was not eligible. So I called T-Mobile and spoke to a lady from T-Mobile promotions she told me that I have to send in my old phone and they have to receive it before the imei on my new phone will be eligible (she said about a week or so). Another important thing I found out is according to her, you must use the new phone with the new line - it's written in fine print on the paperwork I received from the guy from Costco with my shipping label but I wanted to verify. I went to T-Mobile to get a "esim" to hopefully turn the new number into a esim so I can use my SIM card on new phone but they said they do not make a esim for numbers already on SIM cards - (my new phone from Costco had a sim already installed in it which they put the new number on).

Something about 'send us the phone you traded first so that the new imei can be eligible' is a bit strange.

I did the 'free iPhone XR' deal 5 times starting back in December 2018 and I never had to do that. I never received an error.

also, regarding the esim, an esim is not an actual SIM card. it is embedded in the phone. Kind of like an Apple Watch that has cellular capabilities, it uses an e-sim, there is no physical SIM card in the Apple Watch.

Did u get full money on both? Both were clean screen? What did u ship it in
I haven't gotten the card rebate yet but they did credit my account for service. I shipped both in small boxes. My new Iphone 11 pro is the space grey, it is the one that shows the IMEI as not being included. I wouldn't worry too much, just typical overwhelmed unanticipated attention from being feature on slickdeals.

i bought iPhone11 Purple 64GB, and iPhone 11 Black 128GB

Both returning BAD IMEI while entering - so these models might not be active for promotion offer.

This is 100% not true. They must be BSing you because they are working on the issue. I just submitted 2 phones and I filled out the forms online successfully before sending them in. My rep told me that their system were just overwhelmed right now because of demand. She knew as soon as I called in that the problem was with the Costco Iphone deal. Just have patience.
