Jeez...

-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans

-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.

-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".

-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.

-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100

-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.

-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get

-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.

-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.

-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.
Please make sure that you buy the phone outright, meaning limited colors and storage options.

My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.
You are talking CRAP.....stop telling untruths.

This is ABSOLUTELY wrong

ANY listed phone, ANY carrier.....as long as its in good condition and not icloud locked

With the delay in rebate processing, we might end up maintaining the lines for an additional month. That is $140 with 4 lines. Sigh....

Someone just escalated the IMEI issue on Twitter to their CEO -> https://twitter.com/phxtrades/sta...49632?s=20

May be, we should all respond to that thread and add some pressure?

Still haven't seen a response to this questions:

Can I port over a different number from Verizon after Christmas but before I get the rebate approved? The number ported over would simply replace the number of the new Iphone at T-Mobile. I would not change the data plan at all. Will this cause a problem with the rebate approval????

Why would you take any risk when there are $700 at stake????

If some anonymous person told you that there is no problem, will you feel secure?

It is absolutely included. Get an iPhone 6s ASAP and trade in for $700 rebate. Highly likely, your local Costco will not have the iPhone model you are looking for. Just ask the rep to order it online.
What! Online order results in EIP. Why would you suggest it without that without the caveat?

There is no way they don't have some form of this promotion during the 2 biggest shopping days of the year.

I just replied to your post on Twitter, I think everyone on this forum should do the same, it is easy to post and likely for them to take action sooner or get more senior people involved

I replied to the tweet..they reached out on DM but lets see if this helps...There is no issue in the code/app because my friend just submitted a rebate for his 1 week old purchase and it went thru..looks like they are missing IMEI # in the DB which should not take this much time to fix.
