Jeez...

-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans

-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.

-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".

-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.

-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100

-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.

-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get

-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.

-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.

-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.

Please make sure that you buy the phone outright, meaning limited colors and storage options.

My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.

When submitting the rebate online, do I plug in the new phone IMEI or the trade in IMEI?

Is porting number to T-Mobile from other provider considered for this offer? TIA...
As long as you open a new line, yes. All that matters is that you get a new line. Porting or not doesn't make a difference.

I got this response thru DM onTwitter..dont think it will get resolved faster but looks like i will get my rebate money sooner or later

Thanks, my friend. I want to be super transparent with you. This is a known concern at this time. However, we're partnering with our support teams now to get this resolved. As soon as we have an update, I will be sure to let you know. I know that you mentioned being concerned that you only had 14 days to return the device. I want to reassure you that you do qualify for up to $500.00; trade in credit + virtual prepaid MasterCard. We will make sure that you're getting the promotion that you qualify for. I appreciate your patience in between. I'm in the office for the next hour, but if there are no updates during that time then I will check back in with you tomorrow. I look forward to speaking to you again soon.
i got the same response.

Yeah they pull up a barcode from the phone's screen and scan it, instead of manually typing it.
well, that's not what my rep did. She asked me to write down the IMEI and typed it manually while doing the paperwork. (She didn't need to see the phone).

Just got off the phone with wireless advocates 800 number. They said the deal is extended to Dec. 2, and they get new stock every Monday. Take that with a giant grain of salt.

Is this also true for the Costco deal or just T-mobile (online and in-store)

I believe Costco only. I don't trust Wireless Advocates though. I had a horrible experience with them today. Called ahead and was told they have green 64GB iPhone 11 Pro Max in stock. When I get to the store I went through the whole process of adding a line to get the phone. Finally they went in the back to get the phone. When they came back they told me they were out of stock. They wasted two hours of my time. Calling the 800 number accomplished nothing. Costco online chat is basically useless as well.

The "one-time bill credit" is that the monthly bill amount? So say I have the Magenta plus plan ($70 a month) and I buy 11pro with $700 eligible trade in. I'll receive $70 bill credit and $630 MasterCard?
Got my answer here. Believe the one time credit is how much they value your trade in for. So they value my 6s at $30, I'll receive one time credit of $30 and MasterCard for $670

If I want to do 2 phones, do I need to open up 2 $70 Magenta lines and therefore pay $140 each month or can I open one Magenta line and just add 1 line and pay that amount? If so, anyone know the extra line fee?

I only have a Tmobile "Pay As You Go - Legacy" plan. Should I add the new line to this PAYG account to potentially use the existing credit balance to pay for the new postpaid line? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I too have same question

I would suggest check their website first.. https://membershipwireless.com
Select T-Mobile, then select 'Device Family'
Currently it shows only 11Pro has skate and Gold color for 64GB.

New IMEI, but people are having issues trying to submit the rebate online, including me. Getting the following error message: "The device IMEI entered is not eligible for this promotion, please re-enter or contact 1-877-470-3619 for details."

Trying to submit rebates for two iPhone 11 64GB green, purchased on 11/26. I'm not gonna send in my trade-in phones until I can submit the rebate application online. This better get resolved within the 14-day cancellation period or else they're gonna get a ton of returns.
