Jeez...

-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans

-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.

-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".

-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.

-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100

-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.

-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get

-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.

-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.

-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.
Please make sure that you buy the phone outright, meaning limited colors and storage options.

My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.
You are talking CRAP.....stop telling untruths.

This is ABSOLUTELY wrong

ANY listed phone, ANY carrier.....as long as its in good condition and not icloud locked

So looks like my whole process of getting this deal seems to be messed up in the end by the rep. I took a friend who wanted to port from ATT. One line from ATT and 3 new lines. When the rep was processing the new account, the page timed out by the time we got the phones from the pickup location. He tried to find the pending account which he couldnt and tried to create a new account which was denied saying customer already has an account. Then he called TMobile to activate that account and then made them add all 4 lines, then he processed the trade-in as upgrade. Is this eligible ? He gave all the print outs for trade-in, but it looks so dicey now. Anyone experience this ? Should I call TMobile to make sure they were processed correctly ?

Not sure if anyone asked the same question. I bought iphone 7 from Boost days ago for trade in.then Got iphone 11 from Costco. When should I call Boost to cancel the service? before I shipped out the phone?

Should I reset and erase all data from the new phone? Can I just keep the phone as it is? Since I didn't use at all, except test a few phone calls.
Did you already port your boost number into tmobile? If that's the case, your boost is probably already cancelled, although I don't have first hand knowlege. This is just a guess.

correct.
They will value your iPhone 7 for about $61. So let's say $60.
And let's say you buy the iPhone 11 64gb for $630. You will get $60 as a tmobile one time bill credit and $570 as a big virtual rebate card.
If Assurant decides that there's something "wrong" with the trade-in - like "water damage" or a "chipped screen" and they value it at ZERO, does the offer language give Costco an "out" for NOT issuing the debit card?

FYI - for those in NC, ... Raleigh stores don't stock TMobile, the closest one that does to RTP is Greensboro - but they have started acting a bit strange since yesterday - keeps telling everyone that there's no TMobile Iphones in their store. The next one further away is Charlotte or Mooresville. Both of them are running low in stock ... Charlotte sold 15 yesterday, 10 today.

The only Costco that seemed to have an abundance of iPhone 11s from TMobile was Myrtle Beach, SC. But it's a 3-hour drive! Just letting know having gone through this entire NC-Costco experience over the past 2-3 days!

Yes. If your trade in has issues , you will get nothing as stated in the term. Also, rebate comes from T-Mobile directly. Costco doesn't have anything to do with it

Is it normal that none of the 4 phones purchased in 2 trips was opened? Does Costco still open phones at the time of activation?
The rep at Costco did NOT open my new iPhone 11. I added a new line as a new Tmo customer. As I was driving home and talking on my old phone that I'll trade in (Visible phone service), the port happened and I lost service in the middle of my call. Seems that activation occurs and port happens without turning on the new phone.

sorry, i see $500 for iphone 6 all along, what's the issue here?
this thread has stated iphone 6s or 6s+ not a 6. No issue for me. I just saw in bold at the beginning something about no trade in for a 6 and after a call in to CSR (recorded) at the ph# stated that I would qualify for the $500.

Just a post to help others (that's what we do here right?) Smilie

I bought two ip11 today & signed essential plan. CSR said you cannot return d phone to Costco & that they won't accept because it is sold under rebate basis. Sale is final. Trade in devices r going to T mob and the rebate comes from Tmob.

I wanted ip 11 pro and it is not available, so I asked him to buy ip11 today & cancel after few days once ip11pro stock comes. He told above statements. Sale is final can't be changed, u bought device with full cost.

What was the out-the-door price for your pre-owned iPhone 7? (And you had to port in a number to boost mobile right?) Did you also port that number once again into T-mobile for this deal? I plan to do exactly this tomorrow, but I'm not sure if 2 portings would cause any disruptions to my phone service.
I ordered online with next day shipping. Total was about $150 with taxes and shipping. It came with a sim card, but I did not activate.

You can return and buy a mattress pro however the rebate amount will be of what you paid for the 11. I did the same, rep said come next week and just return and rebuy
