Jeez...

-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans

-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.

-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".

-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.

-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100

-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.

-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get

-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.

-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.

-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.
Please make sure that you buy the phone outright, meaning limited colors and storage options.

My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.
You are talking CRAP.....stop telling untruths.

This is ABSOLUTELY wrong

ANY listed phone, ANY carrier.....as long as its in good condition and not icloud locked

Is it normal that none of the 4 phones purchased in 2 trips was opened? Does Costco still open phones at the time of activation?
Not normal but they are probably too busy to open and activate. You would need to activate anyways for the rebate. My last phone I got on Sunday the guy opened the box but never turned on the phone to activate. The other phone I exchanged a couple weeks back was still sealed in box.

He also had asked me before if I wanted to activate myself I said no since the phone need to be activated to process the rebate.

After hours of calls to multiple Costco, I finally reserved the last 2 64GB of purple iphone 11. Went to store and added both of them to existing TM family plan. They didn't open any of both, but csr said he did activated both phones. Went home and setup the phone, both are able to make phone calls.

I have 5 existing lines in the existing family plan so now it is 7. Can I cancel two of existing lines since we will be using the 2 new lines? No porting, lose existing phone number is fine.

Thanks!

INVENTORY

Been seeing many complaints about inventory, or FALSE ways to check it.

The online listing has no relation to what each store has. (a few suggested to check online)

Even if you called in, the best you can get is the CURRENT inventory. Nobody can tell you what they are going to sell 5 minutes from now or in the time it takes you to get to the store.

Nobody can promise the inventory list is even correct - might have sold one and did not cross off the list.

Nobody can tell you what came in late yesterday and has not been processed yet.

Nobody can tell you want is coming in today.

The fact that they had no phones last week has little bearing on today.

Why are these concepts so difficult for folks?

Don't cancel before receiving rebates or they will be denied

The wiki says, the master card will be 700 minus appraisal value of the phone and appraised value will be in bill credits. Any idea whats the approx. appraisal value for a working good condition iphone 7? Also, will that bill credit be adjusted against the charge for the lines?
my iphone showing $59. csr didn't even look at the phone.

I see. Ok. How about suspend? Below is from tm website:
You can suspend your monthly T-Mobile service for one of the following reasons:
Your device was lost or stolen.
You won't be using your phone for a period of time.
You're about to enter active military service.

yes, not accurate. I even reserved one and did all the work, until pickup the phone and they found that is a returned unit. We have to undo everything.

All depends on the model you get. I got $68 appraisal for a base 32gb sprint iPhone 7. Purchased an 11 pro for $900. So I will get the full value. Also purchased a 64gb 11 for $630 so on that one I will get $562 on virtual card.

Just submitted mine successfully too, thanks to the person who suggested twitter and to all those who posted on twitter, clearly this was what solved this issue
Glad the IMEI issue is now resolved. I was able to submit mine as well. Twitter + SD rocks! 😊

Has anyone else have problems setting up T Mobile ID to submit for rebates? I purchased 2 iPhone 11s through this deal, porting numbers from Boost, and keep getting 'try again later' when trying to create/login to T Mobile ID. Called customer service and they keep telling me to try again tomorrow. It's been 3 days. Wanted to know if anyone else had this issue and has been able to login to complete the rebate process. Thanks.

I got the iPhone pro max today and next step is to submit the rebate online and ship the trade in phone. My question is should I wait for holiday to over or drop my phone today at USPS. Just wondering if this will affect anyway.

I was actually thinking the same thing. my concern is that the longer they have to wait for the phones to be verified "received", the longer it will take to issue your rebate.
