Jeez...

-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans

-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.

-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".

-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.

-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100

-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.

-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get

-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.

-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.

-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.
Please make sure that you buy the phone outright, meaning limited colors and storage options.

My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.
You are talking CRAP.....stop telling untruths.

This is ABSOLUTELY wrong

ANY listed phone, ANY carrier.....as long as its in good condition and not icloud locked

You should be able to. Is the number you want to port into boost a T-Mobile number? If you port from T-Mobile to boost and back to T-Mobile then the line wouldn't be considered a new line.

I created 4 free google voice number numbers and paid $3 each to get them unlocked from google and ported those to boost mobile.
But Boost rep says the number In porting should have been with the old carrier for at least 3 months. is that not mandatory?

The number you got from eBay should be older than 3 months. Tell them go ahead and try it.

Got home with a 2nd iphone 11. Realized this time the rep didnt have me initial and sign the doc that has the $700 vs $500 models, the hand filled in IMEI and phone number. Will this be a problem?

This is the form titled "T-Mobile Costco 2019 Save on iPhone Promotion".

Already submitted online for the rebate and uploaded photos.

I asked T Force and they said to take it to T Mobile store first to get it appraised and have them add notes on the account for value and acceptable trade etc or something. I still didn't do it because it felt too risky. I only had a dent close to the screen in one of the corners

There is no way for them to verify that

I've never had to use the phone before on other promotion but I've been hearing that they're now checking for usage. You should be able to use e-sim and have your other number on the same phone as well while you're waiting for the promotion to get approved.
Sorry for the knob question, if using the e-sim functionality this assumes you port in an existing number correct?

Sorry, this might be a repeated comment.. couldn't able to search the 2700+ comments already posted...
Just now called t-mobile cust.care and she said, only unlocked phones are eligible for trade-in. I am little bit confused on this, as this wiki said, "locked phones are fine". Also, Got a boost mobile and when i searched the status on https://ting.com/byod/ the response is as below : "Sorry, this phone can't be activated right now. This device has not reached financial eligibility." So, if the device is in this state, can we still trade-in? As many people got the boost mobiles and even this wiki suggest to get one from boost. Please help, if trade in a boost phone still works for this promo?
