Jeez...

-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans

-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.

-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".

-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.

-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100

-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.

-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get

-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.

-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.

-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.

Please make sure that you buy the phone outright, meaning limited colors and storage options.

My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.

What do you mean by this?!

3. also, there is a $200 gift card for non-TM, if on METRO as example one can not do GC but any other co can - must call the number linked (posted link in here)

Is this stackable with the $700 rebate (the focus of the OP)? What link? Is timing important (got my iPhone 11 2 days ago). Thanks.
It's NOT stackable with the $700 rebate at Costco because the $700 rebate at Costco is not spread over 24 months, as the gift card deal requires.

Regarding Point 19 above:

The Costco rep may open the packaging for your new iPhone and turn on the phone to activate service. Even if s/he doesn't, you still need to turn on the phone to activate it in order to properly get credit for the rebate. There's no way to preserve the packaging of the phone in order to sell. Once activated, the phone can be unlocked after 40-41 days.
I bought 3 iPhone 11s on Saturday and already submitted rebates on all 3 on Wednesday. I have yet to open any of the phones though (i.e. they're all still sealed in box) as I'm waiting to set them up for family members. Does anyone know if there is some time limit within which I have to turn on the phones/activate service (maybe the 30 days within which the rebate has to be submitted)?

Are there any T-Mobile deals not requiring a trade in or new line? I already have 6 lines and no reason to add another one. Thanks!

you mean boost phones that were traded?
Can you post links to these stories you heard about?
Its from my friends and their friends. One was very sure the phone was unlocked direct from apple and he did activate in Tmobile and ATT even though rebate was denied saying "device not eligible" without a reason disclosure. Other one was locked phone and reason for denial disclosed was "internal damage" not more than that.

I personally have not heard of phones being rejected in past tmobile/costco threads due to not being unlocked.

I have sent out locked phones from simple mobile, cricket, and boost and got my rebates.
This time around for this $700 deal, I shipped out 2 iPhone 7's boost

I'll let you know how it goes.

You should be able to. Is the number you want to port into boost a T-Mobile number? If you port from T-Mobile to boost and back to T-Mobile then the line wouldn't be considered a new line.

I created 4 free google voice number numbers and paid $3 each to get them unlocked from google and ported those to boost mobile.
Why did u have to port google numbers?Aren't they able to create a new tmo lines for you at Costco? Is it more expensive creating a new line vs. porting?

I'm waiting to port a number from a simple choice line/account until after I get the rebate. The new phone will just carry two lines on it until then.
