Jeez...

-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans

-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.

-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".

-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.

-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100

-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.

-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get

-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.

-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.

-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.

Please make sure that you buy the phone outright, meaning limited colors and storage options.

My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.

is this even better deal now comparing to verizon $400 dollar phone and visible iphone one with the hassle to get one in stock
for single line iphone 11 128
verzon - $140$(2months)+$699 -400$gv-$32(1st 2month bill credits) =$407(unlock after two months)
tmob - $420(6*70months) +$680+$120(used iphone 7 buying) -$680gv=$540
visible- $25+$40(2 months)+$600-200$gv=$465(comes unlocked)
for 4 lines
2720(4X680) - 2720(credit) +500(4 iphone 7 from boost)+435(3 month x 145 plan) =935 for 4 iphone 11 128 gb.. + tax... is this correct calculation????

Thank you so much for posting all of this information.

I have a few questions:

1) I am nervous about acquiring the new phones in store at Costco and having to mail my phones in after the fact. I fear that something will go wrong in shipping or at Assurant and I will not receive my rebate. Is there any option to bring the phones to a destination where they can be inspected while I'm there (such as a TMobile store) and left behind?

2) If I bought directly from TMO could I have the phones inspected at a TMO store and left there?

3) Has anyone ever had a bad experience by mailing in a phone in good quality and being told that it wasn't?

4) I i have a grandfathered plan on my current account and I'm adding lines to it, can I add on Magenta without disrupting the existing grandfathered plan?

5) I don't understand the need for/comments about dual SIM cards. If I buy through TMO can't my phone numbers port to TMO or am I stuck with the new, randomly assigned phone numbers?

6) Is there a limit to how many phones I can trade in? For example, if my current account has one phone (a blackberry), can I add 4 more lines and trade in 4 phones?

Thank you!!!

Hello Guys. Need some expert advice.

I bought a iPhone 11 Pro 64 GB couple of days back and now i want to return it and buy the iPhone 11 Pro 256 GB. Is it possible to do this without impacting the $700 rebate ?

and i have also not started the Trade-in process yet (on tmobile website) .

Thanks

Well, I won't answer all your questions but you can't do this on a grandfathered plan. So no deal for you unless you open up a whole new account or have a family member or friend who has a qualifying plan and they let you add a line.

You ship out your own phones on your own time.

Thank you, I think the question you answered is slightly different than what I meant to ask--I know the promotion is not combinable with an old plan, what I wanted to ask is whether one account can support both a grandfathered plan and a second plan?

I am still unable to submit the online registration, says IMEI is not eligible. Spoke to T-Mobile twice last week and they said they are aware of the issue and working on fixing it, Already sent out my phone.

Sounds to me like the easiest way to state this is:

- buy excellent condition used iPhone 7
- go to Costco
- buy iPhone 11 of your choice in stock, set up new T-Mobile line.
- activate phone on T-Mobile.
- send iPhone 7 in
- pay first month T-Mobile bill
- unlock iPhone at 40 days
- use sim and number of choice in iPhone 11 following unlock
- pay second and possible third bills from T-Mobile while awaiting $700 rebate
- $700 rebate arrives
- cancel T-Mobile
- profit

From what I've read, you have 90 days to exchange . It's best to wait until you receive the rebate and then do the exchange. You'd have to read the entire thread though to find the relevant pos .

What if I exchanged the phone to a bigger capacity one after I received the rebate, is the new phone still have to stay with tmo for 40 days for unlocking?
