Jeez...

-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans

-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.

-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".

-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.

-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100

-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.

-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get

-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.

-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.

-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.

Please make sure that you buy the phone outright, meaning limited colors and storage options.

My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.

FYI, you can get a number added to the eSIM on your iPhone through T-Mobile's chat. No need to go to the store. It's a pretty sweet setup because you can set up the iPhone to use your eSIM for calls and messages, but still use your added line's physical SIM for data to show that it's active.

Im trying to see if this deal makes sense for me. I have a 6s right now in very good condition (no issues) looking to upgrade and tied with mint till march 2019 (already paid 15$ per month). If i get the iphone 11 XR 64g and given i get 500$ rebate , im still paying 40$ for the phone+ 40$ in taxes+ 4 months (to be safe) for tmobile plan with taxes 240$ .. so total out of pocket almost 320$ vs a 540$ outright purchase without all the hassle.. did i get this right or am i missing something in this deal ?

Into got with T mobile is the best of the bucks ... You save $200 at cost of submitting rebate , unlocking the phone and waiting for GC

They might have entered the MEID instead of IMEI. MEID is 1 number less than IMEI. (Last digit). It is ok. It will work.

I had done that before. I got the credit for the trade in. (Rep if it helps )
On my iPhone 7 Apple box, both IMEI and MEID has the same number (15digit). In fact, it is listed as IMEI/MEID 15digit on the box.

I went through a lot of effort to try to make this happen and got screwed out of it because the rep would let me do it without doing the port in right then and there. Looks like it really isn't required. I can't even go back because that was in Tulsa and I'm in OKC.

My T-Mobile One Family plan did not qualify at Costco. T-Mobile customer care says it's eligible.

Tried adding an additional line to the plan, but their system wouldn't allow it, telling the rep to call in. The rep refused to call. She said it happens to 30-40 percent of T-Mobile customers and is not fixable. I have not cancelled lines

If the error rate is so high, they should pre check everyone at Costco waiting in line. Wasted 2 hours of my time today at Costco, Danville CA.

If your store doesn't have stock: some stores will help you hold inventory at another store. Many stores have upwards of 20 devices in stock it they aren't in great TMobile coverage area.

If you are on amplified- the store must call for manual activation of lines

If you have recently cancelled lines- ymmv but the promo can still apply if you just have them call dealer support and activate lines.

The trade in for iPhone 11 is a moneymaker $629 phone $700 rebate.

Buy cheap iPhones that are refurbished from eBay, verify the charging port area isn't red (water indicator)

Buy applecare at kiosk some stores have it at $129 and some at $144 for 11. Pros are more. don't buy square trade

Your trade in value cannot be $0.

You get 2% back for executive for every dollar paid in store minus taxes

The rep will activate new lines in store- have them place a test call. The person before me said no test call then when they left the rep called someone and gave their membership number to them

For those who bought pre-owned Boost phones that aren't paid off,

That's the exact problem I have and no one can tell me if there is a balance due on the stupid phone! Sprint gives me the message you posted and Boost told me, "The IMEI is fine and is ready to activate". So I'm HOPING that the Sprint(Ting) flag is coming up just because the phone is locked to Boost, not because there is a balance due. I can't decide if I'm ready to risk $700 on this...
same here...Thinking of calling Boost Mobile store rep tomorrow and Sprint as well. I am currently having one line on Sprint anyways and will use that to talk to Sprint reps. will keep posted here if I find something

Great outline. Tho if one gets the 11/64gb at $629, one will only get $629

No I verified the rebate isn't gradual it's a standard rebate card. The rep also wrote which they probably shouldn't have that cost will issue difference in GC if rebate is less, all the paperwork said full $700 minus value of trade in
