Jeez...

-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans

-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.

-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".

-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.

-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100

-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.

-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get

-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.

-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.

-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.

Please make sure that you buy the phone outright, meaning limited colors and storage options.

My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.

Need help here , I bought pre owned iPhone 7 from Boost (no line) , can I just go ahead and use those as trade in's ?

Has this setup worked for anyone ... pls help with your experience. Thanks!

P.s : I do not have line with boost and just used them to get the phone.
This should work. DO you have the phone with you? THey might need the IMEI #.

Also, the pre-owned - depending on the condition might give you less than 700. That will be determined by Tmo (assurant) - so you may have to wait to see how much you get back.

I just bought a new 6s from walmart on straight talk to avoid the above & hopefully I get the full$500 for XR. I dont have any straight talk plan. My costco doesnt have any iphones remaining so planning to go there in couple of days

No I verified the rebate isn't gradual it's a standard rebate card. The rep also wrote which they probably shouldn't have that cost will issue difference in GC if rebate is less, all the paperwork said full $700 minus value of trade in

Really? hopefully I get the full $700 as well. It is the wording, "upto" $700 which concerns me

As per Costco. They only gives you 700 master card for trade in. Here I see they also give some other rebate. Which I could not confirm. Can anyone please advise On top of 700 dollar trade in value do they give some other rebate ?

quick question, does the line have to be active on tmobile to get the rebate or does the device have to be used during that time. thing is I want to sell the two extra I bought but I am wondering if that would void the rebate

Ended up having my 2 phones ordered and shipped to home. They gave me the 2 SIMs upfront at the store. Do I need to use the SIMs they gave me with the 2 phones for like some calls/texts/data for maybe 5 minutes? Then I can put my old SIMs in the new phones?

Planning to try this tomorrow, just want to get things arranged ahead of going in.

I have two lines, one on Fi and one on ATT (with corporate discount) that I want to port in to a family plan. I've got a currently unused 6s that should be good for trade-in.

I am trying to verify if I need both active phones physically at the store to do this deal, and whether I would be able to sign up as a new customer with corporate discount match at this visit.

Yes, all of mine were unopened. Whether they open or not, the lines are active. You still need to open and activate the phones on your line to register the device on tmobile network. Without it the rebates may not be approved. Atleast that was what I was told.

Stacked the Add One, Get One line deal with this Costco iPhone promo. I have a T-Mobile One plan with Plus Promo, and went from 4 lines for $130 to 6 lines for $150. Also, traded in a 6S for $500 rebate, and got an iPhone 11. I'll be using the extra line with an Apple Watch.
