Jeez...

-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans

-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.

-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".

-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.

-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100

-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.

-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get

-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.

-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.

-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.

Please make sure that you buy the phone outright, meaning limited colors and storage options.

My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.

Yes, all of mine were unopened. Whether they open or not, the lines are active. You still need to open and activate the phones on your line to register the device on tmobile network. Without it the rebates may not be approved. Atleast that was what I was told.

Thank you for the reply. So by "activating" the line, it means to place call/text right? ty muxh

repped, sorry could not rep you for some reason

Ended up having my 2 phones ordered and shipped to home. They gave me the 2 SIMs upfront at the store. Do I need to use the SIMs they gave me with the 2 phones for like some calls/texts/data for maybe 5 minutes? Then I can put my old SIMs in the new phones?
Doesn't really matter for you. you are stuck with them for a '2 year contract' since you had them shipped to your home.

Can I open a new account and then cancel after rebate comes ? Do I need to be with t mobile for 24 months ?
Once you get the rebate, you can cancel them if you buy the phone directly at Costco.

in that case - where can we buy cheap 7
I would like this clarified as well, the webpage does not say $500 for 6s or 6s plus.

Stacked the Add One, Get One line deal with this Costco iPhone promo. I have a T-Mobile One plan with Plus Promo, and went from 4 lines for $130 to 6 lines for $150. Also, traded in a 6S for $500 rebate, and got an iPhone 11. I'll be using the extra line with an Apple Watch.
I wanted to do this but my local Costco doesn't have them at stock if I do this deal at tmobile would I get the same deal in 24 months?

will post my experience and then a couple questions

Experience in chicagoland:
- almost no stores had iphone 11 except north avenue and south loop. Both only had 64gb models, and south loop ran out soon after I got mine.
- restock occurs ~11-1 pm so call ahead to see if they have it
- I had simple choice but she couldn't change my plan to magenta at kiosk so she had me call Tmobile to change prior to going through the trade-in
- Trade in phone wasn't required in person, only IMEI
- After the deal, i asked about getting a free line for adding one and she said it was only for new customers
- Got "Accepted offer" of $29 for iphone 6s 16 GB as a bill credit, rest to be as a rebate. Total credit will be $500
- said I would need to fix the cracked screen prior to sending (I told her about it but didn't show her)
- whole ordeal took 2.5 hours since costco and tmobile phone reps were so busy!

questions:
- Am I correct that buy one line, get one line free is also for existing customers? Some ads say nothing, others say new customers only. If so, can I call t-mobile later and get that line added since never offered to me at the kiosk?

- if I have no need for another phone line, are there any costs to getting it just because? Can I use it for something else like a tablet (or other benefits i'm not seeing)?

Thx for sharing the experience.

As far as stock goes, it varies among areas. I was told it is usually the first thing when they open, or towards closing IF they receive new stocks. I had to call about 10 stores to locate what I wanted. Some stores would not even pick up the call as they were so busy, which I understand. Some even offer to hold 64 for me for a few hrs, though I wanted 128s. It does take some/lots effort, but I am glad I did, and read thru as many pages here as I could.

The FREE line from what I was told was if you have/had 3 lines already, the 4th line would be free. I was going to get 4 lines/phones anyway as a new client.

Such was what I learned from this deal. If incorrect on the free line, it was unintentional

I went through a lot of effort to try to make this happen and got screwed out of it because the rep would let me do it without doing the port in right then and there. Looks like it really isn't required. I can't even go back because that was in Tulsa and I'm in OKC.
I want to open two new line. I am at OKC too but not sure if it is worth to drive to Tulsa and not getting it. Do you have any idea about their inventory?

I did the deal, but at a place that doesn't sell much T-Mobile at all. One thing I noticed is that the assurant slip says "accepted trade in offer $29", did that show up as $500-$700 for anyone else? Wondering if I need to pull the plug before I trade these in.
When you did the deal at the store, for your 6s phone trade in offer (I hope it is 6S since you mentioned $29 as accepted trade-in offer), did they say you will get $500 or $700?

Yes, I read the comments who did this offer in past two days and I didn't see anyone mentioned about 6S trade-in (or I missed?). Curious to know about this extended trade-in offer that it is $500 or $700 for 6S and 6S Plus trade-in. Can anyone answer for this?

It's $500 for 6s/6s+
