-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans
-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.
-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".
-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.
-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100
-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.
-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get
-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.
-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.
-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.
My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.
This is ABSOLUTELY wrong
ANY listed phone, ANY carrier.....as long as its in good condition and not icloud locked

I looked around my local Costco and there doesnt appear to be any stock. So I might be stuck with a locked iphone
Not worth the hassle to return the iPhone 7 back to boost.
First of all, you have 7 days...and I believe I read that it includes either the day on which it was ordered or when they shipped it to you. You pay your own shipping as well.
I tried returning a faulty iPhone 7 that they sent me several months ago. It was a horrible process.
As to the
WRONG
All inventory is in the back room. So, you can not "look around" to see.
Also, nobody knows what is coming in today.
Or what is still on loading dock.
Or what is coming tomorrow.
What do you mean you might be stuck with a locked phone?
Sure inventory fluctuates and eventually the store will have more iPhones. However the question that many people are now curious is if they will have inventory in stock before the promotion is over. While no one knows for sure, I am more of a pessimist and believe it is unlikely they will have more stock.
I bought a phone from boost mobile so I need to figure out what I would like to do with it. I don't want to pay for a boost mobile

Yup you are correct. I just bought it directly from boost mobile's website so I didn't have to pay for a plan. That is unfortunate that the return process is poor. I might just keep this boost mobile phone in case another promotion comes up before the new iPhone cycle. the 7 should still be good for trade in.
I shipped out two iPhone 7's last week, let's see what happens.

"Sorry, this phone can't be activated right now. This device has not reached financial eligibility."

is this true? can anyone confirm? thanks in advance.
You can't trade in the phone that is not owned by you (not paid full). Even we purchase the Boost phone with the full payment, ting website shows as "This device has not reached financial eligibility." Looks like Boost by default will sell the phones like this and changes later.
