Jeez...

-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans

-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.

-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".

-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.

-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100

-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.

-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get

-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.

-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.

-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.

Please make sure that you buy the phone outright, meaning limited colors and storage options.

My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.

WirelessAdvocate rep required me to buy the Spigen case & screen protector ($27.99) for each new IPhone. Do you guys have similar experience?
Nope, didn't hassle me to buy any accessories.

I didn't think 'port-in' is a necessity for this offer. I can just sign up for a brand new line, right? Is there an advantage in porting in?

The sheet titled "T-Mobile Costco 2019 Save on Iphones Promotion" includes the IMEI and phone number of the purchased device. The sheet with the shipping label includes only the trade-in IMEI. How can I match up the 4 numbers I'm keeping with the 4 trade in phones? Thanks

another Sder answred it perfectly.

They're probably referring to the in store Boost promo for the iPhone 7, which people have been getting to trade in for this Costco T-Mobile deal.

boost instore offer is for port in only. Not new connection. They can do buy one get one line though. So port one line get another new one. It all depends on the boost rep. Good luck.

Received 2 pre-owned iPhones from Boost mobiles. Both show the below message in Ting site.

"Sorry, this phone can't be activated right now. This device has not reached financial eligibility."
Received below message when I used BYOD tool in xfinity (Verizon Network)
"Your phone is compatible. You'll just need to unlock it from Your Carrier before you activate it with us."

https://ting.com/byod

https://ting.com/blog/sprint-phon...ilty-date/

Why isn't my phone in the clear?
The first three instances below are the most common cases where a phone hasn't passed its FED. The fourth and fifth reasons are less common and totally preventable if you buy your phone from a reputable reseller.

The phone was purchased directly from Sprint on a postpaid account and hasn't fulfilled its contract term or paid its early termination fee (ETF).
The phone was purchased from a prepaid carrier and hasn't been active with that carrier for the required minimum 12 months before moving.
The phone was purchased from a Sprint retail or big box store. Similar to the prepaid carrier rule, when a phone purchased off-contract or from a store like Best Buy, it is required to be activated on Sprint for a minimum of 12 months before it can move to Ting.
The phone was financed through Sprint and not fully paid off, or otherwise has an unpaid balance associated with it (an unpaid bill for example).
The phone has been reported as lost or stolen.

By Reading at Ting blog, looks like Boost prepaid phones are eligible for trade in. Any one here to confirm?

Also, what is the best way to spend the Virtual Prepaid Master Card? I know I can only use it online, but not sure how you guys would get the most out of it for. I'm thinking of bidding on Ebay with it and resell the items later for a little bit more profits.
Why not use it to buy things? Also, I can use a credit card to pay some of my utilities bills online also, as well as my car insurance and home insurance. Reselling on eBay seems like a lot of trouble for not much profit unless you're experienced
