Jeez...

-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans

-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.

-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".

-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.

-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100

-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.

-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get

-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.

-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.

-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.

Please make sure that you buy the phone outright, meaning limited colors and storage options.

My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.

Can I use new T-Mobile SIM which is coming in new iPhone, in my AT&T iPhone. Mine is without contract in AT&T and fully paid off the device. Planning to port- in from AT&T to T-Mobile through this trade in at Costco but want to give new 11 to family member and I am planning to use the new sim in my old XS. Is it possible? TIA

WirelessAdvocate rep required me to buy the Spigen case & screen protector ($27.99) for each new IPhone. Do you guys have similar experience?
No you got hosed into buying overpriced accessories.

Bad rep.

You are not required to buy anything extra. He ripped you off. If items have not been opened, return them to Costco.

do we need to activate a new cricket phone before trade-in?
They could care less. These phones are going to refurbed and reset.

Cricket or Boost or ATT or whomever might care, but Tmobile does not.

Don't worry you just paid $7 extra in Costco . Considering the prices of some case and tempered glass

I just received my account credit for $290 for my iPhone X 256 trade in on my T-Mobile account, still waiting on the remaining balance via prepaid card. Anyone know if I can withdraw the T-Mobile account credit?

you did this deal somewhat backwards, should have bought a cheap 7 and traded that in and then sold your X on your own.

You will have to call Tmobile. I think they might send you a check if you cancel. Better to ask them and be sure.

Yeah, all that was way too much hassle for me, I slickdealed my iPhone X for like 700 bucks when I first got it so getting 700 back for it was good enough for me, but thanks for the tip, I'll ask them for the check

My understanding from Xfinity Mobile (T-Mobile may be different) is that the SIM card cannot be used in a different phone, but the Phone can accept a different SIM card.

Essentially your family member would have to have T-Mobile sim (cuz the new phone is still carrier locked) and you'd be out of a phone (cuz your SIM can only be in the new phone)

This is identical to T-Mobile website. Shit deal. Also 6S $500 rebate is false.
This is one time credit but t-mobile is installment monthly credit. Totally different.

Also 6s trade-in for $500 is true. It is on the trade-in paperwork.

So we currently have two lines for $120 for the magenta plan. I should be able to add a line + get an extra line under their current promotion (4 lines for 140 - Magenta plan) correct??
