-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans
-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.
-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".
-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.
-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100
-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.
-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get
-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.
-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.
-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.
My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.
This is ABSOLUTELY wrong
ANY listed phone, ANY carrier.....as long as its in good condition and not icloud locked

Walked in. Had a handful in stock, all 64gb.
Had one white one and took it.
Paperwork shows 12/5 ending date. But would not be surprised if they extend.
Traded in 8plus and got text with notice of credit while still standing there.
Handed me all the paperwork INCLUDING USPS SHIPPING LABEL.
Yes, I made that large since folks CONSTANTLY come here and say they did not get a shipping label. I will hand this to mail carrier in a week or so to send back.
Yes, I added a line.
Rep gave the 6 month thing - will not be doing the "new line" it that long, but will be staying with TMobile. We switched because of this plan and better rates last year and plan on staying with them.
While I was there, they sold two others TM phones. So inventory moves around.

The Costco wireless advocate rep there was working 3 customers at a time. Said would email the shipping labels over. Been calling him over 4 days and said he'll do it. No longer in Hawaii now. If he doesn't follow through may just have to return them.

Just want to know if reset the phone to remove all contents and settings is what I need to do before sending the trade in
The paperwork says up to 8 weeks.
Past deals indicate it will be something like that. Will probably be a virtual card sent via your phone, but might be a card mailed to you. Not gonna guess. I don't care myself. I can spend anything they send me.

Fine with me, I save some money on sales tax - LOL!
So, I traded in a 2 year old 8plus and paid $61 in sales tax for a NEW PHONE. Since this is an added line, it will cost $10 a month until I cancel. (I will still have 4 active TM lines)
