Jeez...

-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans

-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.

-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".

-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.

-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100

-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.

-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get

-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.

-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.

-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.

Please make sure that you buy the phone outright, meaning limited colors and storage options.

My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.

Stock moves around daily. Heck it moves hourly as people buy new phones, and new ones come in. And they clear the ones on the loading dock.

I bought the phones from the boost site. No service required
If you did $580 rebate promotion then how much first credit you got for iphone 6s..

Was it $29 or $31 after submitting the rebate and when device was delivered?

My proposed was $31 when we did it in costco..But today tmobile said they received different model that i put in trade in form.. I told them it is same and then they said the value is now showing as $29 only so they have to approve to let rebate process continue.. So i am wondering how the value got changed and which model they mixed it with... I know total will still be same at 580..

What would be the bill credit value for iPhone 8? For 6s it was around $31 and for 7 it was around $59

I did not do the $580 deal. But that does not matter. It's a $2 difference. They probably picked a carrier which was different. What exactly are you worried about ?

Most likely they changed the carrier. As in if it was Sprint or Verizon, or Generic. There might be a few dollars in trade in value difference.

Doesn't really matter since you will still get the full value of the rebate still. Just accept their offer and get your rebate processing.

Do they still accept the phone and issue you a credit ($700-$54 ish) if they find out that it's locked to a different carrier than the mentioned in the trade-in paperwork? Thanks.

For the $580 deal my metropcs 6s 32 gb was appraised at $36 and got $31. I didn't call the rebate center it processed/credited automatically after about 2-2.5 weeks.

One phone was boost and was listed as boost only on trade in form... it was having value 31..

Other phone was boost and was listed as generic on trade in form... it was also having value 31..

But today tmobile told me devices received are different than devices on tradein.. they have to approve $29 instead of $31 of originally listed devices...

So u understand there was no problem with wrong carrier or change of carrier..

I am not worried about $2 .. I was mainly concerned what got changed... If the reduced value still keep the rebate process same then i am fine..

Did t-mobile call you for this? From what number if you don't mind me asking. I got a call that said t-mobile on the caller ID but I didn't pick up, just trying to figure out if it was for the same.

This also answers my question. My iPhone 7 is from Boost but the Costco rep put Cricket on the trade in form. So it's not worth visiting the Costco store to get it corrected especially when the promo of $700 on an iPhone 7 has ended? Thanks.
