Jeez...

-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans

-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.

-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".

-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.

-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100

-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.

-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get

-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.

-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.

-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.
Please make sure that you buy the phone outright, meaning limited colors and storage options.

My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.
You are talking CRAP.....stop telling untruths.

This is ABSOLUTELY wrong

ANY listed phone, ANY carrier.....as long as its in good condition and not icloud locked

Are you sure... I thought they would inspect the phones later to give full rebate...

If they already inspected and credited fmv credit based on inspection then why would they take 6weeks to just issue a virtual card which can be a 5mins work and can be automatic process
Because they want you to stay with the service for at least 6-8 weeks. Same reason rep at Costco tell you not to cancel within 90 days. Think about it, people will be cancelling lines after a week if they get the rebate that quick.

Hello Gurus,

What is the process to take advantage of all the following offers :

1. $450 discount on trade in of each of 2 iPhone 6s phones at Costco (since phone is $70 cheaper at costco than at t mobile and also costco doesn't charge the $30 activation fee)
2. the every 4th line free offer,
3. The 20% off family and friends discount on the monthly bill
4. The corporate monthly service discount I get currently on my AT&T plan
5. The $220 off each new line

We currently have 2 lines on AT&T but intend to switch to T-Mobile and get the magenta or magenta plus plan to join our family member who has 2 lines on T-Mobile for a total of 4 lines.

Is there a way to get all the above offers to save maximum $$ on the phones and also the monthly line service charges- to maximize the savings?
Was waiting for the Black Friday iphone 11 promo to come back to get $500 credit for our IPhone 6s and 6s plus tradeins instead of the current $450 promo.

Thank you!
Why stop there. You could have also asked T-Mobile , Costco or Membership Wireless (company that runs Costco kios) to pay you for using their services

Went here after I deleted icloud account from iphone7.
https://imei24.com/check/activation_lock_status/

It says:
Find My iPhone: OFF
iCloud Status: Clean

Also erased all content and now see the Hello screen. This means my phone is now good for mailing to assurant?

Hookup (20% off) and corporate discount match do not stack I believe.
The others you can do if you get a hookup code from an employee and register it online with the phone number you will port in. Then, you can call to get the $220 off each new line and sign up for an account with the lines you would like, including the free one (which will not qualify for $200 gift card). You must do this within the promo period for the $450 off. After the lines are active on the account, presumably the day they are activated - no sooner/no later - which should also be within the $450 promo period, you go to Costco and buy the phones you want (as "upgrades") and complete the trade-ins. Then submit for the rebate online after.

Probably. Call tomorrow if it hasn't show up yet. Here is the rebates cs #1-877-470-3619. I got one credit within 2 days of the delivery for the one i got automatically. For the other one had to call and then was told about the adjusted price and then you get that credit usually same day after they approved it. The adjustment is a difference in the appraised value by costco and the appraised value at the warehouse after inspection, has been mostly $5 difference for everyone it seems.
Thank you. I called them and they said the same $5 story. All my 4 phones are good.

How is it possible.. they had denied my rebate when i did not switch on the phone.. later i had to switch on phone and then submit it again..

Did you sell those as tmobile locked phones?

Then perhaps it worked because the buyer must have switched it on
The phone I sold has been unlocked by T-Force. It was activated on the new line I added at Costco, but no actual usage (not showing up in my T-Mobile account as a phone being used for that line). I'm unsure if the buyer used it on T-Mobile as I sold it as an unlocked phone. The approval came a week after my phone was sold.

How did you activate the iPhone without opening it? Does the IMEI show up for your phone line, if you go to Device-> check lock status ? If the phone is activated, it shows the IMEI activated for your phone number.
Activation refers to adding a line with a phone registered to that line, not "activating" an iPhone on Apple server when you first set up a new iPhone. This activation only applies to T-Mobile.

Received = they have received your phones.
Next, they have to check your phones to issue device trade in credit. You need to specifically ask for "device trade in credit"

My rebate status: Received. But I check my trade-in phone shipping status at USPS everyday (since the drop-off date 12/4/2019), and it always says "Label Created, not yet in system." I am concerned the phone package might be lost.

Yes, but as long as you add a line so it becomes available on your account the same day you buy the phone, it will count. There is probably even more leeway as technically the requirement is to add a line in the promotional period and buy a phone in that same promotional period as well. If you wanted, you might be able to add a line, use it with another phone for a couple days, then "upgrade" to an iPhone 11. That would be risky though.
