Jeez...

-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans

-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.

-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".

-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.

-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100

-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.

-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get

-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.

-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.

-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.
Please make sure that you buy the phone outright, meaning limited colors and storage options.

My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.
You are talking CRAP.....stop telling untruths.

This is ABSOLUTELY wrong

ANY listed phone, ANY carrier.....as long as its in good condition and not icloud locked

Contacting tmobile via direct message through twitter is excellent. They generally answer within about half an hour, and they can solve almost any issues you are having. I'd go that route first.
Thanks, I just click the 'message the team' instead on the unlock web page and chat with their people, and send them 3 phone's imei and associated numbers, they replied that request submitted and it will take up to 72 hours to unlock. One question I don't really enjoy is that they ask me why i want to unlock...

Just tell them you are planning to travel internationally and want to buy a sim card in a different country

Two of my 3 unlock requested were rejected. All of them were purchased 40 days ago, I gave one of simcard to my family member to use on an android phone. the other one, i am not sure why they deny...

Thank you for taking the time to contact T-Mobile. We have received your SIM Unlock Request. Unfortunately, this subscriber is not eligible to receive the unlock code at this time. In order to be eligible, the device must show at least one day of usage 40 days or more prior to the date of this request. Please submit a new request after this requirement has been met.

Thank you for taking the time to contact T-Mobile. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide the unlock code at this time. After review of the account we have determined that the device is not in use with the corresponding mobile number. T-Mobile policies and procedures state that the device must be in use on the mobile number requesting the unlock code. If this is a new device please allow 3-4 business days prior to submitting a new request to allow your usage to update in our system.

hi all - i noticed something peculiar. I sent two pairs of phones. 1 iphone 6s and 1 iPhone 7 - two times.

Both times, Tmobile immediately gave me credit for the iphone 7.

But there's still no news on both the iphone 6s. Did anyone get their iphone 6s credits?

I'm only talking about the smaller credits - ($24-$59)

is this for real? they are actually giving $700 cash card for a 6s now? Wut
So I asked a Costco associate, they said there's no fine print. But once they finish purchasing a new phone, a document will print with different trade in values.
6s - $450
7 - $500
8 and above - $700

Should be the same as the one running at T-Mobile stores. This Costco deal is valid till 12/19 currently.

Called 611 on 12/17, accepted the rebate. $54 posted immeditaely
I do not understand the concept of accepting. I see that for the 4 lines I opened have all received credit amount(3 $54s and 1 $118). I see under bill section a total of 280.

What is there to accept? I do not see what and where to accept..

Also, How is this acceptance related to rebate? In my case I already have received the credit so hoping for the rebate to come automatically (in few weeks time may be)...
What am I missing ..

some people has problem with the trade in value where the estimate trade in value is different than the actual trade in value due to incorrect model/carrier info. Hence they didn't get the trade in credit into their billing. in order to fix it they will need to call in to accept the new trade in value to complete the trade in process.

I fall in that category I believe .. Costco rep mentioned a credit of $59 but I received a $54 for iPhone 7. I am still okay with it coz I believe I will get the diff of $5 aa part of the rebate amount

630 (paid for iPhone 11) - 54 (bill credit) rather than
630 (paid for iPhone 11) - 59 (bill credit)

Isn't that right?

I shipped out three trade in phones on 12/08, and tracking information still shows that they are in transition to next facility, is this normal?

Tmo folks at Facebook is pretty good too -- are they the same set of crew for Twitter? The only problem is that text response time often long, since each rep does multi-tasking and works with multiple customers at a time.
