Jeez...

-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans

-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.

-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".

-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.

-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100

-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.

-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get

-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.

-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.

-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.
Please make sure that you buy the phone outright, meaning limited colors and storage options.

My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.
You are talking CRAP.....stop telling untruths.

This is ABSOLUTELY wrong

ANY listed phone, ANY carrier.....as long as its in good condition and not icloud locked

Donno if this is similar, but i shipped 2 of 3 phones on like the 12th, then a 3rd phone maybe 4 days later. I setup text message tracking for all three. The 3rd phone sent (last) texted me a few days later that it had been delivered, while the other two phones showed no updated status besides they had been shipped. I just got a text earlier today that the first two I'd sent had just been delivered. Something must have screwed up in that first shipment, to be delayed that much. Anyways, just some insight for those waiting. As long as you have the tracking # you're good..

As long as you have the proof that your phone was delivered on Dec 2, eventually you will get the rebate money, even if they can't locate the device in the warehouse. If they locate the device in 10 business days, just be patient for these 10 days. If they can't locate the device, keep the pics of your putting a phone in your package, the USPS logs of your phone being delivered, then escalate to T-force, who will help you out.

You just need to find the good or right CS rep. Do you have Twitter?

I faced the same situation for previous deals where the tracking said they received it but unable to track the phone. It took a me 6+ months and tons of phone calls to get the rebate (the phone wasn't yet tracked down by then)

Also the assurant return label addresses are different for different folks

Really? I did not know the labels were different. Mine were received in 3-4 days. But I had to track down a good CS rep to take care of my initial trade credit

My trade ins were somehow marked as "wrong models" I was very thorough in properly packing and shipping the phones with their respective labels and RMA
Anyone else had this issue? Was it resolved, how?

Wrong model often means the trade-in was described (at Costco) as from carrier-X, with capacity-Y and color-Z, but inspector believes the original phone is actually for carrier W, capacity is R, or color is S etc. Likely inspector will change the phone to generic and all you have to do is ok with that verdict, and accept the valuation (with less statement credit). But if you sent/traded in an iPhone 7, but they claim that they received a 6s for instance, you need to work with them to straighten things out.

My status just changed from Pending to Received and am not sure what that means. I already got a message week ago that my trade-in phones have been received and credit had already been applied to my account.

But I am a little confused about the status - Received change. Does that mean T-Mobile received my phones or do they mean I received the Pre-paid card, which I haven't yet.

Reward Information
Reward Type: Virtual Prepaid Card
Status: Received
