Jeez...

-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans

-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.

-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".

-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.

-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100

-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.

-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get

-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.

-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.

-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.
Please make sure that you buy the phone outright, meaning limited colors and storage options.

My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.
You are talking CRAP.....stop telling untruths.

This is ABSOLUTELY wrong

ANY listed phone, ANY carrier.....as long as its in good condition and not icloud locked

I submitted mine on 12/2 and received the rebate last night.
I have 2 issues here where I called in to the promo dept to get it's fixed. One of my trade in value was $5 lower than the actual rebate. The other issue was the phone number on the rebate didn't match with the purchase phone. Since I have 4 lines and I asked to get all the rebate status notification in 1 line. The rep said that this mess up their system and they have to manual overwrite them. Hope this help with someone who got denied status.

Thanks for sharing.
Did you see the same error as "Ineligible trade-in found" when it was denied?

Day 4th with the denial status. They are saying that it is a system error. They are seeing this rebate in progress on their side while we see denial on our side.

What was your denial reason? Mine says "Ineligible trade-in found"

So when did you fix that error about the number issue? I understand this may be an issue in the system but it shouldn't be since when one is submitting the rebate, it asks for which phone # the rebate is for and then where would you like to receive the text with virtual card. I've done it in the past with no issues, but this specific rebate has been a nightmare, too many issues and no one really know what's going on. Sucks for many.
This was an obvious programming bug/mistake in T-Mobile system. They should just take full responsibility for it instead of giving all kinds of hassles to both new and existing customers.

ACH deposit takes a fee, what I did was Venmo my wife's account and there was no fee for debit card and she transferred back into my checking
OK I'll try that. For regular bank to bank transfers they require a routing number and account number. Is the virtual card's number the account number? And I suppose for the routing number I'd have to find out what the routing number of that issuing bank of the card is?

Same here.. Original Rebate --> Denied, Re-submitted by CSR New Rebate --> Approved at the time (took a screen shot) --> Went back to Received status later

Let's see what comes next! Fingers crossed..

They told me it may take another 6 weeks for the full processing and send the rebate card.
Hi, When CSR submitted fixed rebate error, did you see new rebates submitted under the reward tracker or the status changed from Received to approved on your original rewards?

Does anyone know if can we request a refund check for bill credits? I don't want to be stuck with Tmobile for that long.

I'll add my experience to the mix. Bought an iPhone on 11/27 and had the IMEI issue. Finally on 12/2, I was able to submit the application. Mailed in my trade in and didn't get any indication from T-Mobile that they had received it. After a few weeks, I contacted T-Mobile and they said they got it and credited my account the trade in value. I never received a text. Strange.

I've been tracking my rebate online and it has been in the "Received" status for weeks. Curiously, this morning the submission date changed from 12/2 to 12/1. Not sure what that means. I'm anxious for the rebate, but I'll wait a few more days until I reach out to them.

My denial shows the reason as 'Ineligible trade-In' even though i got the device credit of $54 while on Costco form it showed $59. I had to call in for the same on 12/13 and I accepted $54 as device credit at that point.

Thanks for sharing... REPPED.

That's sad and It's a shame for them. Have you ever (after sending the phone) got the one time bill credit for the device? At least manually adjusted thru chat or phone by the CSR? In that case I heard they can manually override the rebate and get it approved.

I would personally don't take the bill credit, it's not worth being with them for 2 years.

Even after accepting still denied that's weird. This is my First time doing rebate with Tmobile and such a hassle.
