-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans
-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.
-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".
-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.
-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100
-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.
-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get
-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.
-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.
-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.
My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.

Rebate still just "received". Do I need to call to get the rebate approved?
I guess they just don't know to which number apply the rebate to and probably my other one which is in process might be getting that payout already but as of now, I have not even received that other rebate either so who knows. I guess will have to call again and waste more time explaining same thing one more time and see if they can figure out how to correctly resubmit the rebate.

Thanks a lot for sharing this. I just hung up with the promotional team. they said rebates are valid and reprocessed. Now on the website it says valid. For me they said it will 30 days from now to get the gift card.
I'm more than happy even it take 2 months receive as long as i get it.

Still waiting for the virtual prepaid card.For me the rep submitted another rebate on my behalf and within minutes it was showing approved. Now after a few hours, it has gone to the 'Received' status. I am not sure why that happened because the Rep I talked to mentioned that she was approving the rebate right away as nothing was pending and everything looked good. She said the pay out would happen within the next 2 weeks. I don't understand why the status now went back to Received.
Can you please check your rebate status and confirm if it is still showing approved?

Still waiting for the virtual prepaid card.I submitted mine on Wednesday November 27th and mailed out that same day. They received it the following week and I got my one time bill credit on the 5th of December. no virtual card yet.

Same thing. I saw approved an hour back, now it changed to Received with submission date as 1/2/2020... hopefully should wait another 30 days i think.
