-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans
-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.
-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".
-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.
-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100
-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.
-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get
-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.
-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.
-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.
My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.
This is ABSOLUTELY wrong
ANY listed phone, ANY carrier.....as long as its in good condition and not icloud locked

Tonight when I checked the three pending rebate submissions don't even show up. Has this happened to anyone else?
While I was aware of the 40 days and I am only 3 days away from completing this requirement, they are now telling me that I must continue the service for 2 months (or 2 bills paid) and then I am eligible for device unlock.
I think as soon as I complete 40 days of service on 1/8, I will also go ahead and pay $70 for the second month (which is otherwise going to be autopaid on 1/19) and push them for unlocking the device so I am free.

The headache just to gain the cost of a 6s over a 6 is so little that its not really that worth it imo. But GL to you.
T-Mobile called Friday, I sent in the fine print (stating the 6 was acceptable) and they have sent my $500 gift card.
Way better to get the deal / phone you want than return the phone, search out another phone, and get the deal.
12/1 - Purchased iPhone 11 64GB purple for $629 + tax, new line
12/5 - Added another line with iPhone 11 64GB black
12/5 - Submit online rebate forms
12/16 - Scheduled USPS pick up for in use Verizon trade-in phones
12/20 - USPS delivered the trade-ins
12/22 - Device trade-in credits applied to account
1/5 - Received rebate card texts and initiated ACH. Trade-in credits+ rebates total = $1400
Now waiting for:
- ACH to settle
- Unlock iPhones. Online Rep said I have to wait 40 days and he will do it on 1/17 for both phones.
Hi,
Did you do the VC one at a time? Did you had the VC send to one phone, or 2 separate ones? I got all my VC last night as well. thank you

Thank you for all your help I got my VC, submitted online rebate on the 5th, mailed out on the 7th.
Am I screwed over? Or am I about to receive my rebate soon?
Can someone please chime in on this?
