Jeez...

-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans

-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.

-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".

-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.

-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100

-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.

-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get

-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.

-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.

-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.
Please make sure that you buy the phone outright, meaning limited colors and storage options.

My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.
You are talking CRAP.....stop telling untruths.

This is ABSOLUTELY wrong

ANY listed phone, ANY carrier.....as long as its in good condition and not icloud locked

You will probably need to use the new phone with its original SIM card from time to time before unlocking it if you haven't.
that's the strange part, it is currently being used.
I don't even have it connected to wifi so that all the data goes through tmobile data.

Just finished calling. No luck. Rep stated he sees both rebates as still processing and that I should wait the 6-8 weeks 🤦🏽 ♂️

I also got denied for unlock request with the same email message that you received. I'll try it again in a few days. I did it through Twitter.

access funds, transfer by adding your bank details
The name on virtual card and billing address is of my friend's details. Can I still transfer the funds to my bank account (with differnt name/billing address? When I tried to do that?

Did you get denied right away? Or after the unlock request email confirmation? I requested mine last night, email said it takes up to 48 hours. Still waiting for the result.

I received a bill credit of $54 and a virtual card of 471 which is incorrect. I should have received $700 in total. They Bill credited $54 instead of $59 due to mismatch in color and memory description. That's fine. But the balance virtual card amount should be 641 instead of 471 dollars. This is a for iphone 7 tradein on 11/26. Customer care has no clue on the mismatch

regarding unlocking, I requested an unlock for an 11 and an 11 pro.
The pro was approved, the 11 was not which is weird because both are being used. Here are both approved and denied emails:

Approved:
Thank you for taking the time to contact T-Mobile. 48 hours after receiving this email, follow the below instructions for unlocking your T-Mobile iPhone.
If you have a non-T-Mobile SIM card, follow these steps:

If you have a non-T-Mobile SIM card:
1. Insert non T-Mobile SIM Card
2. Complete the setup process.

If you don't have another SIM card to use:
1. Back up your iPhone.
2. After you make a backup, erase your iPhone.
3. Restore your iPhone from the backup you just made.

If successfully unlocked, the message Congratulations, your iPhone has been unlocked will display. Additional information for unlocking Apple iPhone devices can be located at

Denied:
Thank you for taking the time to contact T-Mobile. We have received your SIM Unlock Request. Unfortunately, this subscriber is not eligible to receive the unlock code at this time. In order to be eligible, the IMEI must have usage by the mobile number requesting the unlock code and the account must have a minimum of two monthly service payments since first use of requested device.

You don't need to wait until ACH transfer is complete. Start the transfer, delete the bank info, add the bank to the next card, rinse and repeat.

Others suggested to combine all virtual cards into a single one, then transfer.
How does one delete the bank info? Is this when you actually register with a username and password on wirecard.com? I was able to transfer one card easily without registering, but with the second card, I'm getting an "invalid routing number" error. Do i just register and then delete account details and send, then rinse, repeat? Thanks

My unlock request was denied too even though my iPhone was active for more than 40 days and I already made two monthly service payments. I chatted with a T-Mobile rep through the T-Mobile app and they resubmitted my unlock request. A couple of days later, the unlock was approved. Ask them to re-submit your unlock request.

same happened here, do you have any other line in your account? for me they switched the rebate amount. my one of the line is 500$ rebate. so 471 & 641 got interchanged.

Got my cards as well. As expected, some of it was through bill credits and rest through virtual cards. I've already transferred the virtual card balance to bank account.

Anybody know if T-Mobile will refund the credit on account closure? The consensus here is no, but when I called customer service, they said I'll get the balance as a check, but I am not sure I trust that. Any experiences here? The credit currently shows as "balance forward" in the account (with a negative balance). Thanks!

Got all the virtual rebate cards within 41 days of submission -- pretty impressive with the speed and their effort on fixing their web submission bugs. Extremely appreciate T-mobile's great customer services -- genuinely customer first! Not plan to leave them anytime soon (on essential lines) so as to pay some back.
