Jeez...

-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans

-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.

-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".

-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.

-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100

-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.

-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get

-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.

-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.

-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.

Please make sure that you buy the phone outright, meaning limited colors and storage options.

My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.

I got the card this morning! Thanks to everyone who shared your info here.
My new claim created on 1/4 went through. I got the text message this morning and then went ahead ACH it to my bank account. Without the help from the board, I had to struggle more to get my money back.

Hmm... I called their rebate center: 888-390-6867, using the automated phone system, I couldn't find a single rebate associated with any of my numbers (even with my main number). Although, I can see all of them being listed in my online account.

Something really got screwed up in their system.
LOL wow same here, I just checked
"we're sorry, but we don't have a record of your submission ..."
Ridiculous. Those imei issues are hurting us.
Anyone who submitted prior to 12/1 get theirs in?

That's a good start. I submitted mine on 11/27 (same day the imei issue was fixed) and I am still on received for both of them.

I am currently waiting to get a live agent over the phone.
I think more of us who are having this issue start to call or speak with tforce via twitter and facebook so that they can finally fix the issue.

Just finished calling. No luck. Rep stated he sees both rebates as still processing and that I should wait the 6-8 weeks 🤦🏽 ♂️

Traded three IP7 from boost mobile n received $700 credit in total. I received $473 virtual card for my t-mobile iPhone 7 Plus 128GB trade-in. Received $117 as bill credit. Not why sure they have issued less than $600 in total. Any thoughts?
As per promotion team, the gift cards are sent to another phone number in the same account which created confusion. In this account, we received two 500 and one 700. Waiting for the last $700.

Does t-mobile will refund the prorated amount for the remaining days left in the billing cycle if all the lines cancelled?

Still waiting on my VC's too (4 of them). Submitted 11/27. I've had an ongoing dialog with T-Mobile on Twitter via DM since the IMEI issue. The rep I asked about the VC delay a couple days ago only confirmed that there were no red flags with my submissions, just give it time. Troubling...

No!
Chatted with Tmobile on FB chat. Here's what they said:

The final bill is not prorated. You are advised to cancel your service during the last week of your monthly cycle.

I noticed there are two submission dates

one is on https://promotions.t-mobile.com/status/XXXXXX

the other one is on https://promotions.t-mobile.com/rebates.

so which one we should rely on?
