Jeez...

-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans

-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.

-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".

-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.

-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100

-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.

-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get

-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.

-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.

-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.
Please make sure that you buy the phone outright, meaning limited colors and storage options.

My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.
You are talking CRAP.....stop telling untruths.

This is ABSOLUTELY wrong

ANY listed phone, ANY carrier.....as long as its in good condition and not icloud locked

You can't do it. It's free only if you keep 4 or more lines.
I already had 4 lines. With these two new lines I have 6 lines now, so even if I cancel one line I will have 5 lines. I only need 4 lines, but if the 5th one is free I might as well keep it,

You can't do it. You can only exchange it for the same device. If you do return the device then you have to return the rebate associated with it.
I would suggest selling it on offerup.

Please try and let us know. Most of us don't know what would happen.

I would not do that but that's just my 0.02

It may be possible. But looks unfair. They may stop these promotions if you abuse the promotion in this manner.

I received unlock request approval email yesterday evening.

" Thank you for taking the time to contact T-Mobile. 48 hours after receiving this email, follow the below instructions for unlocking your T-Mobile iPhone."

Do I really need to wait 48 hours then I can unlock the iphone?

If you added two new lines and got one of them free, then removing one of them will make the remaining line not free. But if the Magenta four lines for $140 is still on, then you would likely pay $140 for 4 lines (essentially one line free, unless you had better deal for your first 4 lines) and $160 for 5 lines. Not sure what would happen if one started with 3 lines w/ Magenta Friday (3rd line) free promo, added a couple of lines (say for the Costco promo), and then reduce total number of lines to 3 afterwards. When you get back to 3 lines, would you still be able to keep the 3rd line free promo for your account?

No just the IMEI for the physical SIM - the one that shows up in "My Phone" section of your TMobile account. Once that is unlocked, the ESIM is also unlocked automatically.
