Jeez...

-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans

-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.

-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".

-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.

-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100

-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.

-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get

-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.

-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.

-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.
Please make sure that you buy the phone outright, meaning limited colors and storage options.

My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.
You are talking CRAP.....stop telling untruths.

This is ABSOLUTELY wrong

ANY listed phone, ANY carrier.....as long as its in good condition and not icloud locked

A bit off topic if someone could please help.

I am eligible to unlock my phone having been with T-Mobile for 40+ days.

I have a white phone and would like to exchange at Costco for a different color.

Should I request to unlock after I get the color I want or does it not matter?

I have submitted rebate on 12/3 and had to call to accept lower trade in value on 12/08. Status still shows received. When did you call to accept the lower credit ?
I accepted my lower trade in value on 12/21. 3 out of 4 rebates have been received. Only the one submitted on Dec 6th is still in received status . I am seeing people who submitted rebates after this date have started receiving their rebates . I am slightly worried now

My phone is unlocked and I got my rebate gift card and money has been transferred to my bank account. So..the last step is to cancel the plan. I still have about $30 of bill credit on my account. Has anyone cancel their plan successfully? Did Tmobile give you a hard time and won't let you cancel the plan ??? I am kind of nervous. What excuse did you guys use when calling in to cancel ?

I spoke to several customer care rep and chatted on FB. They are saying that everything is good and you have to wait for at-least 6 weeks before they can override and approve the rebate. I will wait for another week and then call again. They are saying that my rebate is on Dec 9th batch and it will get processed sometime next week but I know that people who has submitted after December 9th have already received their rebate.

Got my 3rd rebate to show up as processing from transferring from the virtual card to bank account. I had requested it late Friday night. Seems like an actual business day has to pass because no status showed up on the weekend. Excellent deal. Wish I could have gotten 128gbs instead of these 64gb.

Has anyone gone from a somewhat full 128gb or higher and gone down to 64gb via iCloud? Currently have a 256gb X, half full, and going to transfer to this 64gb 11 pro. I have the 200gb iCloud monthly plan. Hopefully this works out

Did you submit multiple rebates after the first one? I had submitted my first rebate on 12/6 and then I got two more phones and submitted them on 12/26. I believe my second purchase has pushed out my first purchase rebate and I asked to T-force if this is what's going on and they say that's not the case. But I do suspect thats what's going on in my case because when they pull the rebates using my phone number they see the ones submitted on 12/26 as the first ones and never mention anything about the one submitted on 12/6. I have to explicitly point them out about that one and they say exactly the same thing that you posted.

Has anyone completed the unlock process on their phone?

I called customer service last week (1/9) to request an unlock. Received an email on 1/11 stating that my phone would be unlocked after 48 hours (that would be today, 1/13). To complete the unlock, I need to either backup/reset/restore my phone or install new SIM. I tried both methods and the t-mobile site still shows "locked".

I called customer service back to inquire. They said it's 48 "business" hours. Check back on Wed.

Have you gotten your phone unlocked?

Sorry I don't have an answer to your question, but did you have success with exchanging for a different color? I can see why getting a different model could be frowned upon, but it seems like even a color exchange would require a return and new purchase.

I dont think tmobile website is correct. I have 4 phones unlocked and working with other carriers but tmobile site still shows it as locked. You can use this link to check if a phone is locked or not.

You nailed it. The t-mobile checker seems to be broken. The site you provided shows "unlocked". I have another 11 that hits 40 days tomorrow... Fortunately, T-mobile customer service has been extremely friendly and responsive. Other than misleading me with the "48 business hours" bs, all other interactions have been great - rebates, unlocking, etc.

If there is any amount balance left in my account and if I cancel my account will I have to forfeit my amount or will T-Mobile refund the money after I close the account ? Does anyone know?
The reason I ask is they screwed up my rebate - they gave 100$ less than my actual amount after several follow ups they gave the diff amount as one time credit to my account. So looking for options here on how best to make use of that 100$. Appreciate any suggestions. Thanks
