Specs says:

Intel Core i7 7th Gen 7660U (2.50 GHz)
16 GB Memory 1 TB SSD
Intel Iris Plus Graphics 640
Touchscreen
2256 x 1504
Windows 10 Pro 64-Bit

Edit: Forgot to include that latest intel i7 is 10th gen. So you decided if you need the latest and greatest, or a i7 7th gen is good enough for you.

It's their proprietary charging/docking port. Low profile, magnetically attached. Really nice except for the fact everyone else has gone USB-C.

This is only a dual-core processor. I personally would not buy this for that reason alone. Virtually all of the 8th generation and later processors are quad-core and significantly more capable.

Edit: it was pointed out this is the laptop not surface pro. I have surface pro with same specs and find it works well for most everything I need.

You can also charge via USB C on the Surface Laptop and it does USB-PD to make it almost as fast as the proprietary charger

Have this. Love my surface. Use it with a kensington case. However, it is still no IPad as a tablet. Tablet app support is lacking and regular windows apps are just not super touch friendly. Usable, but not convenient.
Well, that would be because this isn't a tablet at all- You're referring to the Surface Pro.

This is the Surface Laptop, which has no tablet functionality.

Well, I did say it was a good deal. That was a comment. Also, I think craigslists provides a good platform for buying, think of it as a retailer recommendation.

Why not getting the 3rd gen Surface Laptop i5-8G-128GB for $899 or 256GB for $999? Unless you desperately needed 16G RAM and 1T SSD...

Just an OK deal - 512GB version being sold on Amazon by 3P sellers for $925 regular price. So for $25 more than reg price you're going up to 1TB SSD. $800-$850 would put this in really good deal territory.
