I'm not sure if this was targeted or not. It was an offer under my Marriott Chase credit card account. You get $900 cash back when you open a checking and savings account through the link. Sure the interest rates are crap...but once you get your $900 after 3 months, you can close accounts and move elsewhere. Seems like a killer deal...unless I'm missing something?

To receive the extra $400 bonus: You must open the checking and savings account at the same time and complete all requirements above for BOTH the checking bonus and savings bonus. After you have completed all requirements, we will deposit the remaining bonus due in your new checking account within 10 business days."
Setup a direct deposit of $500 a month or have a balance of over $1500 to avoid fees on checking. And maintain balance of over $300 on savings to avoid fees.

Thanks in advance
Thanks!
ACH is transferring money method between finance institutions. It is not as "bill payment".
You can set up this from your non-Chase bank/brokers, normally it is under "Money transfer" option, add your chase checking account's "routing number" and "account number" to initiate "transfer"

1. ACH Transfer 15K from my credit union account to Chase saving - this would fulfill saving bonus requirement.
2. ACH Transfer 500 from same credit union - wait for a week if bonus does not post transfer another 500 from Ameritrade
If I keep this balance as is, there wont be any monthly fees in both accounts - correct?
