At Publix (if you have one) they have free antibiotics at the pharmacy. You don't even have to fill out anything...unless it's your first time there and then you just have to fill out a little notecard with your name/address/phone/email. We don't have insurance at the moment (Well we do..Cobra being assholes...another story)...anyway...I went to CVS to get Doxycicline filled and it was almost $40 out of pocket. That was for one week. Went to Publix the following week to get a two week prescription of it and didn't have to pay a penny for that or the other antibiotic I had filled. If you don't have a Publix...check around to see if someplace near you has something like that.
Meijer has the same program. A lot of generic antibiotics are $4 at Kroger too.

Check with HEB. They have a $5 program - you join and then get a hugely reduced rate on meds. Or Walmart. Print the list of cheap meds and bring it to one of the redi-clinics and say "pick one!" hug

I'm taking LT for his repeat blood draw this morning. Boxing Those ladies better not fark it up this time.
Thanks, AM. I think the doctor charges $80/visit and RediClinic charges about the same. hug

How'd his blood draw go?

No Publix or Meijer here. We do have a Kroger and obviously a Walmart.

I'm going to keep taking OTC for now to see if I can keep it gone once it's gone. If not, then I'll call to confirm how much the doctor's fees are and possibly set up an appointment.

hug Sorry you feel icky.

The draw went as well as could be expected. DH had to hold him in his lap and he screamed the whole time "I don't want to be hurted! Stop hurting me!" Frown It was horrific. But the tech was fast and got it done quickly without incident.

It was pretty heavy. I'd say it was a pretty big dog.

I did not mention it to my boys. Nono We'll probably be getting a dog in the next year - I don't need them asking me if we'll be decapitating the family pet. laugh out loud

Yeah, if you told them what it was...they'd probably ask if every package you ship has a dog head in it. That'd be a lot of fun around Christmas time, lol.

And laugh out loud @ he's still interested in getting in my pants comment.
