I would go ahead and process the paperwork sooner rather than later in case of issues. When I did mine for my initial purchase, also through an online bank, there was some verification issues going on. I have my cell phone and work phone on my account but they only called my cell phone which I can't have on me. Luckily I went to check my phone and was able to call back to get it resolved. I waited until the last minute so I ran the risk of it not making it. Not to scare you, just a warning.

after 9 weeks, i finally got my amex credit!!! now i'm waiting for my second one to come. i just closed yesterday on my primary residence.

My "Closing Expert" added the Amex card details task to my task list. This happened after my "Processing Expert" finished his steps and I'm now being scheduled for closing.
