Notary and closing
Here is what you can expect or ask for from my experience:
1. New pen for signing wiped thoroughly
2. Pen stays with you after signing
3. Only material they will touch would be your ID
4. ID would be wiped and returned back
5. Can expect gloves to be worn
6. Signing can happen in your front yard or in your garage
7. If you have a Costco table then you can sit on either sides to maintain distancing
8. Masks might be recommended given new guidelines
9. Plus discuss with the notary!!

couple of questions that I need assistance with and would greatly appreciate -
1. Is LenderFi good to work with? Should I work with better mortgage to see if they can price match. Have folks refinanced through LenderFi with no issues?
2. I am in PA. Can folks recommend Title companies that are better to work with and can provide a better deal on the title services.

1) There is nothing stopping you from locking in with Lenderfi, while also applying to Better, and trying to get them to match your LE. The LE you submit to Better has to be from the previous 24 hours. So make sure you send it over soon after you get it. I would at least give better a chance. They might beat it by $1000, and then you can also get the $2500 lender credit.
Also if it works out like mine, Lenderfi waved the appraisal on the LE. But at first the Better LE had a $550 aprasial fee, but they increased the lender paid amount by 550 to offset it.. but When I was locking they verified I qualified for no appraisal, so I get that 550 back.. so they actually beat Lenderfi by $1550, and then add in the $2500 amex credit.. Worth the extra few hours of work.

For me, the lender fees are covering everything but around $100 bucks. This includes escrow and all fees.

Also in PA and shopping currently. Have excellent credit, no debt besides house. Better quoted 2.25% but with $4900 in points. I have to imagine I should be able to get 2.5% with no points....
