I noticed the problem in the last three days. The month before was fine.
They used too much low quality thermal paste.
They also used aluminum instead or copper!

That's weird... but no other issues? restart and shutdown using windows menu fine? how about using the sleep option in windows menu? does this wake from sleep screen problem happen every time now or just intermittently?
Here's a video of Adata SX8100 nvme drive in the slot 1:

I think I figured something out. When you remove the original SSD, it takes a boot cycle in windows for that slot to accept and show an Nvme drive in the x4 slot. This is why my machine failed to accept the Sabrent Rocket on slot 1 the first time I tried it. I was going directly from SSD to Nvme without completing a boot cycle, as I was using a cloned drive.
I just move the Nvme drive from slot 2 to slot 1 and now it is seen as a Pcie x 4 slot, and crystal diskmark scores show the jump in sequential performance, nearly doubling in throughput from the x2 slot.

This video really tax the system.
I got a zerolemon usb c charger which is also listed in this thread wiki and the motile never flip in and out of the plugin status. hooking a usb meter, i saw reading of up to 66W momentarily sometimes. even thougn the usb c port for the zerolemon is supposed to be only 60w it can supply momentary 66w no problem
the zmi unfortunately never was able to give any reading close to 60w bc it keeps disconnect power when the demand gets high.
what do you mean by wireless display? as in chromecast or what?
