Mirrorless Camera Suggestions

2 10 December 12, 2019 at 11:44 AM
I currently have an older Pentax K-500 with 2 lenses and this has worked fine for what I needed in the past. However, the actual camera no longer works, not sure what is wrong with it but I really am at the point that I want to upgrade regardless.

My main uses for a new camera is to take trapshooting pictures of my boys who are on the HS team, some action pictures of pickleball games and pictures on vacations. I would prefer something smaller then a DSLR for travel and convenience purposes but still am open to DSLR cameras if a mirrorless camera would not suffice. I'm not an expert photographer by any means probably more of a beginner as I typically just use the basic features. I would prefer to keep the price around $500 (less is better) to $900. At least for the main things as I can add an extra lens or features down the road and I'm completely fine with buying used or refurbished to save money. We will be traveling to Norway next Summer and with trapshooting, taking long distance shots is a must. Any advice or feedback, suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I'm hoping I can snag a good deal since it's right before Christmas.

Thanks! Cindy

Hello! Wave The Cannon D series is very popular and older models fall within your target price.
