Personally, if someone asked me for a recommendation for a general use enameled dutch oven, I'd point them towards Cuisinart more than Lodge. The shape is just much better, and the price not much higher when they go on sale at sites like Woot.
ETA: the red and blue 7 Qt Cuisinarts are on sale for $59.99

I will say I also considered the Cuisinart but decided against it due to durability concerns (noted in ATK review and in a lot of the 1 star reviews on Amazon.) That being said, it seems like either would probably be a good choice for most people as they both get good reviews from ATK/wirecutter/amazon.

Lodge is certainly a very good budget option (I love my 7 Qt oval Lodge); just be aware of what you're giving up.

the 7qt staub is $300 and the 7.25 lc almost $400. they're better, sure, but not that much better
Like I said, trade-offs. And you're comparing a good sale on the Lodge to regular-priced Staub/LC.

FWIW Ameria's Test Kitchen recommended the Cuisinart over the Lodge, and they did some durability tests: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KoW1eyY

the test you referred to compares Lodge NON enamel pot NOT their Lodge enamel dutch oven

And look at the dutch ovens on display. Any of them look familiar? With the concentric rings at the bottom? Along with the distinctive colour shading?
The Cuisinart was listed as the best buy but that recommendation was made based on the prices they purchased them at which is $83 for the Cuisinart and $79 for the Lodge. The only "Highly recommended" pot in the test was the Le Creuset.
