Both are the same price, seems the series 5 has 1 extra HDMI port, slimmer design and 178 degree viewing angles. I would go for 5.

I paid for the same price for the 50" on Black Friday Frown. But I'm pretty shock by the picture quality per the price. Loving it for far.

Make sure you buy extended warranty on tcl tv. I brought a 55" tcl 4K tv and it died after 2 years of usage.

I wonder how is the picture quality compared to the $20 cheaper Insignia also on sale right now. That one is firetv vs roku.
