Posting my first deal, so apologies in advance if I got something wrong. It seems to be a decent deal for a decently spec'd 2060 equipped laptop. The real deal behind this is if you have a local Micro Center, as you can get this open box for the low $900's, price dependent on which store it seems. I checked the three in my area, and all three have open box complete with different prices in the low $900's.

I'm pretty positive you're wrong, this is the updated 2019 chassis that fixed some of the cooling issues the 2018 chassis was having. I'm pretty positive that WiFi 6 was never offered in a 2018 chassis.
Edit: Caveat that I'm not 100 percent, MicroCenter has been known to have some weird one-off models with manufacturers not found elsewhere. I went through a bunch of posts just now on Reddit and forums on this specific model, and nobody mentioned it having the 2018 chassis.

If you copy the model number from their website and search on Hp store it takes you to the 2018 model
For some reason HP keeps timing me out on their search results, so I can't pull it up and look. It's possible that their pulling some Acer action reusing model numbers. Here is a YouTube review with it opened up and you can see it has the 2019 chassis layout. For the 2019 chassis they moved the majority of the ports to the back of the laptop and added the 4 lane Thunderbolt 3 port back there. https://youtu.be/EloUckKqAKc

I was having the exact question to myself and did some research online. I found out that RTX 2060 is only slightly faster (~5%) than GTX 1660Ti, but it has Ray Tracing which 1660Ti doesn't have. However most current games don't support this anyway, so it is kinda moot. In the end, I picked up RTX 2060 just to have a little more future proof and the price difference for me is small anyway.
Alienware is 60hz display
If I am to decide between the two, I would pick this HP because it has a better graphic card and a 144Hz screen. Dell has a 17" screen but it's only 60Hz. I also prefer a lighter laptop to carry around.
