There are a few different publishers on Amazon for these "50 Masterpieces you have to read before you die" type series, and it can be easy to get them mixed up. The Publisher for the Vol 1 & Vol 3 freebies in this thread, as listed in Amazon's "Product Details" section, is "Oregan Publishing".

Your link for the 99 cent Vol 2 version you found appears to go to a different publisher, and shows that Publisher in the Product Details section as, Athenaeum Classics.

My thoughts, why not complete the series with the same publisher, Oregan Publishing, and if you're going to spend 99 cents on purchasing a Vol 2, why not do so by rewarding the Publisher giving away Vol 1 & Vol 3?

Notice below the "Publisher", "Publisher Date", and "Sold By", for the 2 different Volume 2's you can purchase for 99 cents. Also, the publishing dates for Vol 1 - 3 with Oregan Publishing all happened within 4 months of each other. The Athenaeum publishing date was in December 2019, over 6 years after the Oregan publishing dates.
