Not sure, but I think this is for first-time audible members only (received the you are not eligible boot). I had an Audible account many, many years ago, and Amazon remembers, just like Pepperidge Farm.

Current US members should be eligible, including if you sign up (as with any x for y sales, you need credits. customer service can usually sell you more if you're out.)

It's good enough IMO to go through your backlist and toss out (i.e. return for credit) books that you just haven't gotten around to since you bought them (that is, if you're the sort of person who would collect books just because books are available).
