This VertuoPlus model (2nd gen) is pretty unreliable. I would recommend buying either the 1st generation or 3rd generation model instead since they still sell all three for some reason.

It gets a little confusing because the 1st generation name is used differently. Some people call it VertuoLine and others call it original. VertuoLine is really for any of the machines in this line. VertuoPlus is 2nd generation and Evoluo is 3rd generation.
The Plus (2nd gen) got more automated/motorized and has bad reviews for being unreliable. The Evoluo (3rd gen) went back to more manual mechanics for a reason. They are trying to clear out of the Plus bc they are junk. Trust the online reviews please.

This may be true, but I've had 2 vertoplus motorized ones for 3 years without issue. I use one 1-3 times a day. Might be luck of the draw, but they've been great for me.

Yep, I'm sure they can be good depending, but seems many aren't having luck. 2 of my friends had failures less than a year in with Plus models. I snagged a 3rd gen to try to have better odds.
