Can someone please copy/paste the destination link for the offer? It's probably not account-specific. Right-click on the offer button and select "copy link".

I only have the $20 offer and for me the link is http://turbotax.intuit.com/affiliate/fidelityret. What is the link for the free offer?
The URL is not account specific but it does appear you have to be redirected from fidelity and/or cookied by fidelity. Hitting the URL incognito yields a generic "We cannot find the page you requested. You may have incorrectly typed the address (URL) or clicked an outdated link." page.

you have to have > 30k portfolio AND > 120 trades to qualify.Trades are free now, so I dont know if you can goose your trade count on penny stocks
Quote from publicpersona :
This is not true. First of all the word "and" does not appear in the description at https://www.fidelity.com/trading/...ice-levels. You added that and emphasized it.

And while they do document this tax software benefit for "Active Traders", Fidelity routinely makes Premier with State available to their key customers. Now, what is a key customer? No one knows for sure. I can tell you I always get the Premier offer and hardly ever trade. I do have "Private Client Group" designation on my account and significant assets held there. At the same time, my spouse does almost no trades either and has a much smaller amount in assets, and his account has the offer as well.

It is hugely YMMV, and I would suggest any attempt to state what the qualifications are on SlickDeals is just someone speculating.
Same here. I'm not Active Trader but I'm Private Client Group with 5 trades last year and did get this offer.

Thanks to the OP and the person who posted where to find the download link.

Got my $0.00 Premier Fed+State through Fidelity. One more thing to scratch off the list.
Can you please copy/paste your offer destination link? It should be similar to http://turbotax.intuit.com/affiliate/fidelityret

Maybe you didn't copy it correctly? What does the affiliate code look like for you?

for me..initially when i clicked the link on my accounts page. i got the "oopps error".

Does anyone know if this is still a family license? I usually share it with my two adult children. In the past it explicitly said I can do that. I also installed it on 2 or 3 of my computers to work with it from multiple locations. Will the new license code (for the Mac download) allow this?

FYI. It is available only for these two types.

Qualifications

Active Trader Services
Trades: 120+ stock, bond, or option trades in a 12-month period
Portfolio Value: $25,000 or greater across your Fidelity accounts

Active Trader VIP
Trades: 500+ stock, bond, or option trades in a 12-month period
Portfolio Value: $1,000,000 or greater across your Fidelity accounts
Is there a code that could be transferred?
I know someone who has this account but doesn't use TurboTax so I wonder if the code is transferable?
Thanks

Bummer. More than easily qualify with portfolio value but fail on the 120+ trades.

Many of us can 100% guarantee you that you do NOT need 120 trades. Or any trades, necessarily.

The CSR didn't know the whole story.

I think they can download the file and you can then install it on your computer - if they get the download version.
