Really? I find that challenging to believe as many of us here have noticed
1) lag issues
2) CR123 batteries are pricey, and the kits do not include rechargeable batteries so that's extra $ you need to spend
3) wifi disconnections
4) issues with low light performance

Ayyy I appreciate this, I probably wouldve purchased it!
For the price they are now, I love em. I have a lot of more involved smart home stuff like ISY so I like these to be easy. Change the batteries maybe twice a year on them. No connection issues. Maybe I'm just lucky. I keep picking them up when I see them on FB market place for cheap
I've done a bunch of testing for Alro/Netgear and have all the cameras, and can definitively day the gen 1 cameras are pretty bad.
I use the gen 2 and 3 where I need them, and just have the gen 1 on doors that rarely get opened. I had to buy rechargeable batteries to even make it worth it, and I'll replace them as soon as I get some newer cameras.
Limited stock at Walmart is basically not worth going in the store right?
Hi Lanky
Basically yep... even when it states "in stock" there may have some issues at Walmart w/regards to inventory counts / locations. So I'd recommend not travelling too far for a "limited stock" search.

minimum would be a wired power camera like the ring.
